Barack Obama sees worst poll rating drop in 50 years

Things not working out as expected Barry?

That's a shame.

Barack Obama sees worst poll rating drop in 50 years - Telegraph

The decline in Barack Obama's popularity since July has been the steepest of any president at the same stage of his first term for more than 50 years.

Fuzzy math anyone?

In just the last few years I saw George Bush's poll numbers drop from 88% down to 27%

Obama went from 68% down to 54%

I think Boy George would have killed for a 54% approval at the end

OK.....I want to be the first to nominate this post for the US Message Board "k00k POST OF THE YEAR" award!!!

s0n.........are you one of those people who walks out of the ocean, gets sand on their feet and then goes and walks right across the beach blanket for attention???

Anyway.......since Rightwinger has this mental case propensity to pwn himself, thougth I'd quickly point out that the operative word in his post is "years".

Obama has fallen like a stone in water in 8 months!!!

Holy fcukk...........you cant even makes stuff like that up!!!:oops::oops::funnyface:

Time for the Hopey Changeys to smear these pollsters and demand that they be shut down immediately. Maybe they'll even start ranting about how this is not a "Real Poll" as well? Man,what a scam.

Smear them??
We love them

Obama at 54% while republicans are at 36%!

Is that an ass whoop'n or what???

Ooooooooooooops!!!!!!!!

Voters Trust Republicans More On 10 Top Issues

For the first time in recent years, voters trust Republicans more than Democrats on all 10 key electoral issues regularly tracked by Rasmussen Reports. The GOP holds double-digit advantages on five of them.

Republicans have nearly doubled their lead over Democrats on economic issues to 49% to 35%, after leading by eight points in September.

The GOP also holds a 54% to 31% advantage on national security issues and a 50% to 31% lead on the handling of the war in Iraq.

Once again, Rightwinger...................

Well, geez, I guess that means his opponents in the Grand Ol' Party have got it made in the shade!

Considering the mess the GOP and Bush left Obama and the Dems, Obama is doing just fine. When the health insurance reform bill passes, he will be doing even better.

They will say it was streeeeeetched over a longer period, but you are right, 62 to 53% isn't really the devastating bombshell they make it out to be,

Bush's Historical Approval ratings:Historical*Bush*Approval*Ratings

It's also still the percentage he won the election with.

The whiners do make a lot of noise, though, don't they?

But then again, they've been trying to de-legitimize him from day one... tough to do with 365 electoral votes instead of a supreme court decision, though.

tell me....

how positive, fair and balanced were cnn, abc, cbs, nbc.....during this time?

Rasmussen? lol, you might as well be quoting the bimbo du jour in the middle chair of Fox and Friends, Corky.

Aww.

CNN and Rasmussen polls have contradictory results for Republicans in 2010 midterms

October 23, 5:58 PM Ryan Witt

Two important polls released today by CNN and Rasmussen reveal an apparent contradiction which could hold the key to the 2010 midterm elections. The CNN poll is potentially disastrous for the GOP while the Rasmussen poll gives a much brighter picture for Republicans.

First let us examine the CNN poll. CNN's poll reveals that only 36% of Americans have a favorable view of Republicans while 54% view them negatively. The low favorability for the GOP is its lowest in over a decade. Furthermore the numbers do not compare well with Democrats who have a favorability rating of 53% with 41% viewing them unfavorably. Just looking at the CNN poll it would seem the Democrats would actually stand to gain seats in the 2010 election.
Rasmussen however shows why you should consult multiple polls in analyzing political parties.

True.

If they pass the public option, Obama will be remembered as the president who fixed healthcare.

You are an idiot and now you have greased the skids on a path to my list.
What are you blabbering about you unmitigated half wit?

Why don't you compare Bush's numbers just after 9/11 and his rating at the end of his 2nd term. D'ya still think Obama is the champeeeeen pooch fucker.
I didn't 'compare' anything, i posted an article from a British paper.

And why would I care what Chimps numbers were?

Using the worst POTUS in years as a benchmark isn't helping barry one bit.

But i now see you are an Obamatron, you think the boi king is god and you must kiss his ass every chance you get.

How rediculous you are.

He will be remembered for fixing it alright. Just before he brings down the entire health care system followed closely by bankrupting the nation, causing the greatest divisions in this country in the last fourty years and continuing to mire us in two wars.

I personally like the Rassmussen polls

They consistently tell the right wing that they are doing a good job and don't need to change anything.

"Rassmussen says America loves us!"

Rasmussen is delusional with its interpretations. It makes saveliberty and other far right whackos believe wrongly that they are mainstream, that they are not responsible for what happened to the country economically, that health insurance reform is actually an entire overall of universal health care -- what a group of delusionaltoids.

Fiscal conservatives did not put this country in the position it is in today. JakeStarkey says, "health insurance reform is actually an entire overall of universal health care." Really? Since when have we had universal health care? Now THERE'S a delusion. Of course CNN would never have a bias in their polls would they?

This definition of mainstream is interesting as well. Did you stop to think that mainstream is most folks liking the health insurance they have now? How about, even as poll numbers go up for support of gay civil unions, it doesn't mean the mainstream is going to jump up and find a same-sex partner. It means they will tolerate the deviant behavior.

Either saveliberty is mentally impaired or deliberately misquoted me. I have highlighted above the actual quote and italicized savedliberty's error. Let me make quite clear that I do not believe that health insurance reform is an entire overall of universal health care. That is a common far rightoid talking lie. Regulation is not socialism, and health insurance reform is not universal health care.
