Should he have sent in a drone?

France elects socialist president... debates a name change to Greece II.. and like the movie Grease II, it will also be much worse than the horrible predecessor

Hardly, Greece is toast. france really is a much sronger country than Greece, no comparison.

Is.. is in the present tense... with a full socialist leader, it will start on a huge downward spiral

His room for movement is pretty limited. Don't believe all the bluster Hollande vented during the campaign.

That being said, I'm pessimistic about his leadership and he may well cause some damage. But France can take some damage. and Sarkozy's leadership wasn't really stellar either.

What a fucking disaster.............amazed at how people can just say "FUCK YOU!!" to the next generation. And of course, Obama loves this.........these dolts and the dolts who support them really think this is all as easy as just taxing the rich guys.

We will soon be seeing shit in civilized societies that we thought we'd never see.........and its gonna be like a fucking freight train coming through the middle of your living room when it arrives.

Well, with conservative governments in power in England, Germany, Italy Finland and a bunch of other EU countries, if there is any overspending, at least you know which side to blame for it.

I actually don't see the situation here as being particularly bad. It is bad in the PIIGS, but outside those...it's fairly much business as usual.

By which I mean, we have better healthcare, education, public transport and services than the US, and at a lower cost per capita.

Hollande will be able to learn some valuable lessons from the community organizer on how "stimulus", debt, printing currency, borrowing and expert central planners can improve the welfare state...................

That and "fairness".......

Achtung! Achtung!

Frau Reichskanzler Merkel will spank President Hollande if he is a naughty boy and doesn't behave.

Logik -

Quite possibly he will - certainly the US economy under Obama is performing much better than the French economy under Sakorzy, isn't it? And you have an unemployment rate aroun 2% better than France, right?

You must be really pleased about that, I assume?
