Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannonis declaring the impact of the Trump presidency "over."

"The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over," he told the Weekly Standard on Friday. "We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over."

In an interview with the conservative outlet, Bannon said President Trump's administration would "be much more conventional" in the wake of his departure.

Bannon said his absence from the White House will likely make it "much harder" for Trump to pave a way forward on issues like "economic nationalism and immigration."

As I asked a few months ago, I wonder what Trumps administration will look like now. I still don't really have an answer, I guess we will see. If he loses his base, backs down from China, trade abuses and job creation, his base goes back to the Democrats, and probably the far left.

Steve Bannon said the Trump presidency that he helped build is “over” and vowed during an interview Friday to move forward with his nationalist movement through his alt-right website.

“The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” Bannon told The Weekly Standard.

“We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”

Bannon left as President Trump’s political top political strategist on Friday and quickly returned to head the right wing website Breitbart News.

The fierce nationalist told The Weekly Standard that the future would include working with his media apparatus to influence the president.

“Now, it’s gonna be Trump,” Bannon said.

“The path forward on things like economic nationalism and immigration, and his ability to kind of move freely … I just think his ability to get anything done – particularly the bigger things, like the wall, the bigger, broader things that we fought for, it’s just gonna be that much harder.”

The battle lines are drawn. It's now Bannon against Trump.
A brilliant evil man against a stupid evil man.

Oh by the way Bannon is already back at Breitbart. Just remember that the next time you use Breitbart as a source. Lol

Trump is a president who isn't afraid to make adjustments within his staff if he thinks it'll benefit this country.

His focus has always been on doing what's best for Americans, not a single person or party. The same can't be said for previous presidents.

Is he so naive that he thought the establishment would bend over and say thank you when someone takes them on......................

It's obvious he and Trump had a falling out................There is a hell of fight going on right now hidden from view.....................

The establishment is hell bent to get rid of Trump................and to me...........it kind of looks like Bannon gave up.
