Tried to make a post a few minutes ago and got an error message saying the post contained "banned words" and itemized what the banned word was -- the name of a common drug. Presumably I can't post it here but it's the name on this box:

-- the sentence was about a TV commercial.

Wtf is this even about? Are trade names "banned" now? :uhh:

What is Viagre? Some sort of root medicine?

extract of mandrake

"Mandrake" --- there's a word that just sounds redundant.

You can post shit-tons of Chinese spam, though.

Except in the FZ. :backpedal:

If y'all would stop and think a bit -- it REALLY IS ABOUT Chinese spammers. Have you noticed waking up to less Asian character tagging of the forums?

That's because the SPAM filter looks for the MOST COMMON things that SPAMMERS are pushing. Has NOTHING to do with Moderation adding banned words. It surprised us also -- but it makes sense. And it's WORKED to reduce the SPAMMING.

You're completely free to discuss your favorite LEGAL drugs. -- in the correct forums and threads and by the rules. :113: Stop whining.
