Ban Discussion

No Discussing infractions, bans, banned members, or specific moderator actions or duties on the open boards.

1. Does this mean it's OK to ask a staff member via PM why certain members were banned?

2. Is an individual member given a reason for their ban when banned, and if so, does the above rule allow for asking the member in question why they were banned?

Westwall covered it pretty well.. On #2 --- what you do in PM with a banned member is your business. However NONE of that may be shared on the open boards both DURING or AFTER the ban. Probably even with the banned members' permission --- since that would violate the rule that you posted.

We all encourage you to contact Moderators if you have a strong opinion on a banned member. But we are not gonna discuss the specifics with you beyond MAYBE whether the ban is temporary or permanent... Rather --- member opinions will be duly noted and likely shared with the staff.

Yes. If you have a question about a member who is banned or you have an issue with a specific Moderator action, report it, and contact a member of the Mod staff via PM.

A sincere thank you to you both for your prompt and concise responses.
