Baketball college level , Big teams with poor academic records.

    Which NCAA teams have the best and worst graduation rates? - The Dagger - NCAAB Blog - Yahoo! Sports

    While 8 percent is pitiful and might indicate a problem, A good number of the big teams players go on to NBA careers early. 40 percent is not likely a bad number at all at a Very good team school. There are very few players actually on Basketball teams to begin with, what is it? 12 players?

    And the report does not show how many actually end up graduating, just those that finish on time.

    Big time college Basketball is about money and not about graduating. The kids are there to play basketball not get degrees. It is a minor league for Basketball, if the kid graduates....great. If not.....too bad

    You are aware this administration wants to ban those schools from tournament play?

    I remember reading a few years ago the Cincinnati coach hadn't graduated anyone during his tenure there.

    At least I think it was Cincy. If not, my apologies to the Bearcats.
