ouchie....it hurts....i walked a few miles yesterday with the dogs and all...messing around....now this....swelled up on the walk ...anyone have this?

I had one an it went away on its own.

You can have them drained if they dont.

Its a fluid build up in the back of the knee.

It makes walking pretty painful ,like having a ballon inside the back of your kneee

Old knees with a weakness towards it.

Sorry SB but its true.

no worries...i kinda know that already...it is caused when the fluid your knees use to cushion is pushed out to the back of the knee...normally there is an underlying cause....tear in cartiledge or simpy the knee producing too much fluid...and this is my good knee..damn it....i pounded it walking yesterday....lots of downhill pounding...uphill and upstairs doesnt really bother knees...but down hill and down stairs wear them out...

i have had my feet up most of the day...and it has gone down...man apparently sat here all day reading the medical sites and is convinced i am gonna lose my leg...
his overreaction was to make me pile up in the recliner after i got off work and do everything for me...then get grumpie cause i am needy ....
