Bachmann’s husband again tied to ‘pray away the gay therapy’ caught on video | Washington Blade - America's Leading Gay News Source

ABC News has picked up an undercover video from LGBT-activist Wayen Besen’s TruthWinsOut of a counselor recommending prayer to “treat” homosexuality last month at the counseling practice of Michele Bachmann’s husband Marcus Bachmann.

The Bachmanns have denied patients have been counseled in such ways, but the video and the growing chorus of former patients coming out claiming to have been “treated” in this manner for their homosexuality by the Bachmann clinic.

In response, the Human Rights Campaign—which has already endorsed President Barack Obama for re-election in 2012—has launched a petition demanding GOP Presidential candidates sign a pledge disavowing dangerous “ex-gay” therapy, which major American mental-health groups from the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association and more have denounced as extremely harmful to patients.

Isn't it nice to know that we may now pick on family memebers? Meech has a fat ass.

The Bachmann's are freaks. That is why Republicans love them so much.

They are also socialists who benefit nicely from agricultural subsidies and "praying away the gay" which they received $161,000 in federal and state funds.

For all their talk on limited government, Republicans thrive off of a large government. That is why they have a history of expanding it.

Wrong, they are corporatists, but nice attempt at trying to be intelligent. Try harder next time.

Plus, nice red herring. Do you have anymore logical fallacies up your sleeve?

The point is, Marcus Bachmann lied when he said he didn't use "pray away the gay". By accepting public funds, he committed a crime.

It's getting very sad to watch how DESPERATE the liberals are getting. They know THEY ARE IN TROUBLE of their Dear Leader LOSING his THRONE in 2012..

they dig up stupid stupid shit and again are going after FAMILY MEMBERS just like they did with Palin.

You'd think they would be ashamed, but they don't have any when it comes to KEEPING their MASTERS in power.

I vote this thread one of the stupidest..AND a real YAWNER.

Is that what Marcus Bachmann does (pray the gay away) in his own life?

Some believe he did.

Some people get mentally and spiritially trapped into the "fudge packer" lifestyle.

I see no problem with giving them prayer therapy to help them become normal human beings again.

Don't you mean that's what he does (as in present tense as opposed to past tense)?

Oh brother, most people won't GIVE A SHIT about this, WE HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS going on.
gawd you really need to take your names advice..

Actually, no. No we don't. This is an example of a much larger problem in this country, which is, that there are many people ("conservatives") who feel there are people "beneath" them or lesser to them in some way. This is why we see attacks on gays and minorities and why someone like Cantor can attack poor and middle class students and be cheered for it by his own crowd.

Until all Americans accept that we were all created equally, these problems will never go away. No matter how hard you pray.

Well damn good thing they were caught. Because we all know "pray away the gay" is the problem with this country right now.

Actually, you're wrong. Mr. Bachmann isn't 'attacking' anyone. He has a right to his opinions. He's not forcing them on anyone, people come to him and he offers them.
