Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) won’t be returning to Congress on Friday to vote against a $1 trillion spending package that preserves funding for President Obama’s healthcare reform law, her office told The Hill.

The presidential candidate is campaigning in Iowa on Friday, according to her campaign schedule.
The omnibus is expected to sail through Congress after both parties signed off on it Thursday night. Partisans are funny.

Bachmann would be a compelling candidate if everyone just assumed the premise that everything she says is the truth and not convenient distortions or blatant lies. Sucks for her though that people are allowed to think for themselves.

Actually, it sucks for the entire GOP that whatever they say is recorded on the internet.

Easier to tell the liars that way.

Incidentally, anyone else think that smartphones, the 'net and other social media is going to change the way the world operates? I do.

Transparency is finally gonna be an option.
