Bachmann Endorses Mitt Romney After Saying He Couldn't Win

Politics, bedfellows, you get the idea...

Hard to find any stranger than Bachmann:

"Carbon dioxide is portrayed as harmful. But there isn't even one study that can be produced that shows that carbon dioxide is a harmful gas."

Can you get me a direct link to that quote in context please? Oh and by the way it is not listed as harmful.

CO2 is an asphyxiant gas and not classified as toxic or harmful in accordance with Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals standards of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe by using the OECD Guidelines for the Testing of Chemicals.

Right out of wiki.

.

In high concentrations, it damn sure is:

A limnic eruption, also referred to as a lake overturn, is a rare type of natural disaster in which carbon dioxide (CO2) suddenly erupts from deep lake water, suffocating wildlife, livestock and humans. Such an eruption may also cause tsunamis in the lake as the rising CO2 displaces water. Scientists believe landslides, volcanic activity, or explosions can trigger such an eruption. Lakes in which such activity occurs may be known as limnically active lakes or exploding lakes.

You have never heard of volcanoes, and people dying from CO2 suffocation?

Everybody is going to kneel down and earn their favor. Politics is a messy game... full of slimy snakes. All of the candidates are going to get behind Romney eventually.

Clinton in her quest to be the nominee was ripping Obama a brand new orifice on a daily basis but she "knelt down and earned her favour" to use your words.

And now works for the man she attempted to shred with all her might during the campaign to be the nominee.

It's politics. I don't consider her a slimy snake. Just a candidate who gave it her all when she was running.

Carbon monoxide is deadly. CO2 is not. Without CO2, we wouldn't exist.

Photosynthesis: 6 CO2 + 6 H2O --> C6H12O6 + 6 O2

Cellular respiration: C6H12O6 + 6 O2 --> 6 CO2 + 6 H2O

CO2 is used in soft drinks, beer, yeasts, and baking powder.

You caught Bachmannitis too? CO2 in high concentrations KILLS life:

A limnic eruption is an explosion of CO2 gases from a lake or other water body. The potential for extreme damage comes from the release of carbon dioxide that will suffocate all human and animal life in the vicinity of the eruption.

Snakes are not as bizarre as Michele "CO2" Bachmann. :lol:

What the hell isn't dangerous in high concentrations?

Hell's bells, if you drink too much water too quickly you can kill yourself for crying out loud. If you eat too many beans, you can fart yourself into a heart attack.

But it is used in food, agriculture, wine making, you name it. It's used for positive purposes on a daily basis across the planet.

It's not eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevil.

Keep trying; Bachmann said "not one study" after decades of knowledge about limnic eruptions. She is a dunce.

Yeah and if you eat too many pieces of ex lax you can shit yourself to death.

I just read where coca cola was to blame for a woman's death because she consumed too many sodas daily.

No shit.

No, I don't care for her.

Yeah, if you hang out near volcanic eruptions and you're breathing in pyroclastic flows which exceed 100,000 parts per million, you're gonna die from the gases that are released. CO2 comprises .039% of the air that we all breathe in.

H2O can be deadly too if you drink 5 gallons in a day, upsetting electrolytes, osmotic pressures. It can also be deadly if you submerge yourself in it without an oxygen supply.

You didn't mention the fact humans expel CARBON DIOXIDE, and plant life must have certain concentrations. Too much CO2 can kill plants also however. When humans go into space, they need OXYGEN, remember?

Who cares? I'm more worried about Obama kicking the bucket and all of us truly ending up with Biden than Bachmann ever becoming Romney's running mate.

That's a red herring.

On the other hand the sheer thought of hearing "President Biden" should scare the ever living crap out of any sane individual.

I hope I never hear those two words in my lifetime.
