I am watching an Australian music award show (kill me now) and here we go, we get the old cliché speech "I really did not expect this."

Yes you fucking did, or you hoped for it or you would not have showed up.

I hate this false modesty which is really a form or artifice, the opposite of modesty.

If I won I would say "I fucking expected this and it is a God damed good for the entire world I won, otherwise the Mayan calendar bullshit would have come true and the entire world would end."

The only thing you find in your toilet is blind mullet. But award shows are sickening. I think I watched one once. Not sure. I suppose that means the counselling was effective.
