For most of the past 19 months, President Trump’s war of words with American news organizations has been more of a one-sided barrage — at least according to the Boston Globe’s editorial board.

Trump labeled the news media “the enemy of the American people” a month after taking the oath of office. In the year that followed, a CNN analysis concluded, he used the word “fake” — as in “fake news,” “fake stories,” “fake media” or “fake polls” — more than 400 times. He once fumed, the New York Times reported, because a TV on Air Force One was tuned to CNN.

And last week, at a political rally in Pennsylvania, Trump told his audience that the media was “fake, fake disgusting news.”

“Whatever happened to honest reporting?” he asked the crowd. Then he pointed to a group of journalists covering the event. “They don’t report it. They only make up stories.”

Now, the editorial board of the Boston Globe is proposing that newspapers across the nation express their disdain for the president’s rhetoric on Aug. 16 with the best weapon they have: their collective voice.

The rally calls for the opinion writers that staff newspaper editorial boards to produce independent opinion pieces about Trump’s attacks on the media. So far, according to the Associated Press, 70 news organizations have agreed — from large metropolitan daily newspapers such as the Miami Herald and Denver Post to small weekly newspapers with four-digit circulation numbers.

Health care was free at SFSU. I was treated for a sinus infection and given an antibiotic, at no cost.

I paid $348 per semester in my first year of college before I wet away on athletic scholarship. Health care was free.

So if we did not let our tax money get wasted unreasonably spending on the military, unreasonable spending on prisons and law enforcement, locking up on violent drug offenders and militarizing police departments, and handing out more money to the rich, we'd have more than enough to pay for educates and healthcare. But you paranoid world is out to get us, law and order for everyone but you types support this waste of money.

These are two things that would help advance our nation and its people, unlike what money has been spent on in the past. How much money have we spent on wars that did nothing for us?

Sanders plan (Medicare for all) was estimated to cost 3.2 trillion a year. College for all another 70 billion a year. Trump can't even get 25 billion for one year to build a wall from the Democrats.

Protection of the country is outlined in our US Constitution. Healthcare and college are not.

2. Lake Okeechobee in Florida is a waste water dump for the sugar cane planters. The gov't waived the laws requiring them to remove the nitrogen and potassium and now Florida has the worst Red Tide in decades, killing millions of fish and wildlife.
Floridians have been advised NOT to eat seafood coming out of the Gulf of Mexico.

But the sugar conglomerates and Duke Energy save hundreds of millions of dollars after the regulations to clean up their waste were happily repealed by the whores in the White House.
