Audi Chooses Mexico over US

Audi, the luxury automobile flagship of Volkswagon, has decided to build it's North American plant in Mexico over the previous plans for Chattanooga, Tennessee. Despite the violence raging through Mexico at this time, officials close to Audi and automobile manufacturing analysis say it is because of the more friendly business atmosphere.

What else will this decision bring to the table in regards to future development in the United States if Audi is to come to such a conclusion?

I spoke with a german CEO once that does business for a multinational company, he said we don’t do business in USA. He said Canada had a much more friendly business atmosphere.

He said it was easy to get sued in USA, and strange laws could cause millions of dollars in loss. It is to much protectionism in USA, even scientific reports are protected and needs to be paid for, in other countries things like that are free and open for everyone. Protection of patents etc. may get you sued.
