It's a reflection of just how deeply corrupt our government really is. There are a lot of people who are aware of what's going on who have the ability to do something about it and will not. this thing goes a lot deeper than simply The divide between the Democrats and the Republicans although that is right now the main fuel firing this conflagration.

Don't forget Trump is pretty much by himself
Not only did he have to fight off the Democrats up until now he's had to fight off the Republicans too.

Mueller would have been shut down long ago if it were not for the sympathy that he had drawn from the Republican party... People like John McCain and Jeff flake for instance.

Loads of questions about his methods, himself, the people who work for him, the FBI and the DOJ.
