Attending the Convention?

Is anyone planning on going to NY to attend the convention in August/September? I'm curious where people are staying and how much they're paying and what their plans are while in New York. Anyone?

I'm not going, but I'm going to assume that you'll be paying a lot. I remember paying $130 for one night at a HoJo's in mid-Manhattan, and that was 5 years ago.
