The more racist that Trump appears, the more support from the GOP base.
Can you demonstrate how that's done? You profess expertise.
You can say the same thing about his predecessor.
As for DJT
1) Europe and Asia have slowed but the US economy is mostly dependent on the consumer and so long as the confidence is high and unemployment low we should be OK. Corporate confidence is very high. He is seen as a business friendly President.
2) Short term pain for long term gain. This is necessary if speak to many investment bankers. Trade wars are always painful. Let’s see how this one ends up.
3) Wall Wall Wall. Trump has opened the eyes of many to our immigration issue. Specially the illegal
one. We are flooded with illegals costing us billions. Border patrol agents are begging for help. Even 60 Minutes did a poignant piece of this.
4) Race. This got bad under his predecessor with Black Lives Matter, the killing and emasculating of our police officers. Look at the homeless issue in Cali. All because the police are no longer allowed to do their jobs. Trump won because many felt betrayed by their predecessors and no one is more racist than the newly elected Democrat Squad.
Deantard, you’re the epitome of hypocrisy. You need your eyes opened. Luckily you’re old and will die soon. Your avatar is that of an innocent man who was attacked by a loon and vilified by your idiot party.
My concern on the economy is that consumer debt is now getting up there. Consumers are beginning to run out of fuel, and their incomes are not increasing fast enough to make up the difference. Cycles are driven by debt, both up and down, and those numbers don't look good. On the more positive side, Federal Reserve interest rates cuts in non-recessionary periods have a pretty good history. And something good "could" happen with China.
The China shit is the only thing that really concerns me as the economy reacts to it as of late.
International relations and race problems are more tied to the radical left than Trump imo.
The trade thing is an asymmetrical relationship. Trump has to worry about 2020, Xi not so much.
Why would President Trump be expected to know who Dave Duke or any of the other paid contributors for CNN and MSNBC are? It isn't like he's an important individual, and if the Main Stream Media would ignore him, he'd buy into a senior community in Boca Raton and spend his days playing bocce with other old-timers in anonymity.
BTW, who is "Dave Duke" anyhow? He's an old-timer who served in the Triple K- a group with hundreds of members nationwide- a long ass time ago and has worked for decades being interview so the media can use his existence against Republicans. Basically, just a liberal operative who should be ignored.
Sadly the left is unwilling to help rectify a bad situation. Without a unified front China can gamble on a waiting game.
Consumer debt is also high because of ridiculously high college tuition costs. But consumer debt is not Trumps fault. He has done all he can to boost corporate and consumer confidence and hiring. Our awful healthcare systems is sucking us dry as are entitlements and neither party wants to tackle this. But to blame our awful race relations on Trump is crazy
