They talk in circles, lie their asses off, and drag out your anytime minutes trying to win by beating your patience down.

And I'm SO f-ing sick of talking to machines. It takes 20 of those anytime minutes just to get to your favorite hadji phone answerer in India who can't make any real decisions. Then, after listening to his cow-worshipping ass for 20 minutes, you end up being transferred to a Carl, some yuppie in where-the-f-ever USA.

Why does it take an act of Congress (which is sad since they can't agree on what color the sky is) to solve a simple problem?

When your sales rep promises me a deal that's what I want. Not some conciliatory deal, nor an excuse. I want what I signed for.

That's the problem. An 'act of congress" doesn't work in a capitalist environment.
I can call a guy up on his cell and he( or she)'ll be here most times within an hour.

Good luck with that, Gunny.

I'm switching my cell service here soon cuz Sprint has NOT been my friend at all. My internet guy rocks though. :D

Virgin Mobile, 300 anytime minutes, unlimited Internet and Texting, $25 a month. Samsung Intercept phone ($175), FroYo 2.2 Operating System. No contract. Never had a problem. (since December that is)

Yeah, but if you finally get somebody from technical support on the line, you not only can ask them about AT&T issues, but they can help you set up your router, fix your Dell computer and get you a great deal on a flight to New Delhi.

The ceo of At@T got his email posted online and I emailed him 2 years ago because I wanted a new phone before the contract was up to get the deal. His office refered me to the executive offices and I did get that phone.

I looked him up online again for a friend of mine and now if you email him more than once, you get a cease and desist letter.

You could try emailing him, easy to find by googling. Don't do it a lot and you should be ok.

at & t has royally screwed a friend of mine for years..each time he thinks its settled....it all comes back

No shit.

And wait for that call from a "supervisors" when you tell them your number twice.

You would think if your old number was an AT&T number that you canceled, they'd be just spiffy enough t know they can't call you on it.

2 years later? S-W-E-E-T ....

o his problem was internet....they kept calling him and he kept saying no but then lo and behold the service would be added....he thought he has settled the bill twice...paid them the amount to settle it....but then it would bounce right back and they would say the person who allowed the settlement didnt have a 'full understanding' of what was going on.....right....

More like the fruits of socialism and regulation, dork. You're in the wrong argument. The facts don't support you.

Go with a wireless service much cheaper and all calls made in the U.S. are free. Not to be confused with cell pone service
We had ATT too, it really does suck and is way too expensive. Going wireless we have the same phone as when we had ATT but much better customer service and a heck of a lot cheaper.

au contrare. I know the telecom industry very well I have worked in many aspects of it since the 70's.
it is all about profit now not service. Dereg allowed this to happen.

Deny all you want but dereg is the root cause. Outsourcing and offshoring came along as well being enabled by dereg.
