At least 9 people shot in early hours of new year ( Chicago Gun Free Zone )

January 1, 2013

At least nine people--including two teenagers--were wounded in separate shootings in the early hours of the new year, authorities said.

The new year’s first apparent victim of gun violence was a 29-year-old man shot in the mouth and shoulder after a fight broke out at a bar on the West Side, police said.

The truth!!!

PRAIRIEVILLE - A 14-year-old boy was arrested in the alleged accidental shooting death of a 13-year-old boy, according to the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office.

Lt. Col. Bobby Webre says 13-year-old Christian Crain was shot in the head while playing with two other teens in a bedroom at 14269 Oak Meadow St.

The 14-year-old confessed to smoking marijuana, accidentally shooting Crain and disposing of the gun in the backyard of the mobile home.

Is shooting under the influence of drugs any different that vehicular homicide while DUI?

In the bright red south like Louisiana, guns are everywhere with virtually no gun laws. This is another perfect example of how having guns everywhere leads to more gun violence and deaths, that's why Louisiana and other bright red states are all the top gun violence states in the nation.

In the United States of America cars are everywhere. Is this any different to allowing teenagers to drive adding more death to automobile violence. Oh, you mean like Chicago, Illinois? The number of deaths for both the City and State outnumber the deaths in any other State within the U.S. A close second is Detroit, Michigan. Now where does that leave the other "Red States"?

Absolutely pathetic deflection. The most dangerous states in the nation with the most gun crimes have two things in common. Are full of idiotic, GOP rednecks and have next to no gun laws
