Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas said on Monday they have decided to end years of infighting in a show of solidarity over the Gaza crisis, an AFP news agency reporter said.

From here, we announce with other (factional) leaders, that we are ending
the division," senior Fatah official Jibril Rajoub told a crowd of about 1,000
who gathered for a demonstration in Ramallah, the West Bank's political capital.

When israeli mothers love their own children more than they love to steal Palestinians land, there will be peace

Poor Palestinians, used as pawns by the Arab League and Egypt when they created the people 'Palestinian' and now used as pawns and cannon fodder by their leaders. And for what?

"Egypt initially supported the creation of an All-Palestine Government, but disbanded it in 1959."

September 1970 is known as the Black September (Arabic: أيلول الأسود* aylūl al-aswad) in Arab history and sometimes is referred to as the "era of regrettable events." It was a month when Hashemite King Hussein of Jordan moved to quash the militancy of Palestinian organizations and restore his monarchy's rule over the country.[5] The violence resulted in the deaths of thousands of people, the vast majority Palestinian.[3] Armed conflict lasted until July 1971 with the expulsion of the Palestine Liberation Organisation and thousands of Palestinian fighters to Lebanon.

Again? Are you sure you're not watching a rerun of an old news clip?

I can see it now.

Haniyeh: "We shall unite to fight the Zionist enemy! It's a great day for the Palestinian people, my incompetent, corrupt, cowardly, betrayer of Allah, American puppet brother!"

Abbas: "It is a glorious day, my nutjob, fanatical, betrayer of our people, back stabbing, Iranian stooge brother!"

Together: "Onward to another humiliating defeat for the Palestinian people!"

Haniyeh: "God willing, that is."

Abbas: "Oh, yeah, God willing, right."
