Oh yeah- several years ago, I bought a '68 VW Beetle couldn't get the damn thing to run so I sold it to a buddy.

I had a friend with a 67 Beetle. He had twin 18" X 12" by 12" speaker cabinets belted into the back seats wired up to his 8-track. The sucker rocked.

About 15 years ago I bought an old scooter from a friend but I couldn't keep the damn thing running so I sold it. A few years ago I saw it in a Facebook post from someone out in New Hampshire LOL.

I drove mine from Illinois to Colorado without a starter, then from Tennessee to Illinois without breaks LOL. Drove it for a while without a clutch too. Hard as I tried, I could not kill that car.

Yeah- before the State Cops were driving them. It was all black, and I put custom rims on it. Then I removed those gay ass silver Impala emblems from behind the rear windows. And put a black bra on the hood and grille.

So, I'd be cruising down the interstate and notice like 20 cars behind me.

They thought I was a Fed or something LOL.

Years ago, I had a doctor who was from India. Great guy. I'm in the exam room when he walks in and asks "so, what brought you here today".

My reply: "A Mazda 323" (wife's car at the time).

He didn't get it.
