On April 4th of Easter weekend, Slooh will broadcast live views of the Total Lunar Eclipse as the moon falls deep into Earth’s shadow. CANYON OF FIRE' OPENS ON THE SUN: A filament of magnetism stretching halfway across the sun erupted during the late hours of April 4th (22:00-23:00 UT). The eruption split the sun's atmosphere, hurling a CME into space and creating a "canyon of fire," shown here in a movie recorded by the Solar Dynamics Observatory:

Fragments of the exploding filament formed the core of a CME that raced away from the sun at approximately 900 km/s (2 million mph): image. Most of the CME will miss Earth, but a glancing blow cannot yet be ruled out --- spaceweather.com​

There's meteor showers tonight. Supposed to get about 15 shooting stars per hour. That's a lot of wishes. And the sky is darkening with the waning of the moon, so visibility will be good.

Every year the planet Uranus halts its progress thru the zodiac, becomes relatively stationary and then regresses. Tonight at 5pm Pacific Time the blue-green planet freezes in stationary retrograde in the constellation of Aries.

The symbol for Uranus contains the cross of matter (4 directions), but with guard rails on the sides. Underneath is like a cosmic egg, like an enso in Zen calligraphy, or the sacred Om, or the proverbial snake eating its tail, like the wellspring of creative chaos being forced skyward. The forces of Uranus become stronger in retrograde.

With the added influence of Aries this suggests a time of great change forced from the depths. A great societal earthquake.
