Hello.

I am looking to expand my employment options, and America is my first choice. My question is, is there a process in which I can apply for some sort of "general residence status" in America while not already having an employment sponsor?

As Canada and the U.S are NAFTA signees, I am curious as to how fluid our labour forces are. I would like to explore; if possible, employment options in the U.S without first being sponsored and thus exploring first hand different potential employment situations.
