I understand he is still in jail awaiting trial and preaching to his jailers. He may be waiting for an earthquake to open the cell doors for him and release him from his prison as happened to the Apostle Paul.

In jail over a YEAR for a misdemeanor?
Not so, observes constitutional attorney Dan Conaway, saying those waiting for the DMV doors to open have no choice but to listen to Mackey.
He's creating an intimidating situation for people who simply want to get their drivers licenses renewed, says Conaway, who says its OK to preach in public, but not when your listeners cant leave.
He does not have the right to intimidate others and force them to listen and impede their ability to do normal business activities such as going to the DMV.

Just a reality check here. Mackey was arrested in February. He has, unless released on bail, spent less than two months in jail, not a year.
