ARRESTED FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
Actress Heather Locklear has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department said.
Sheriff's officials said Locklear was taken into custody Sunday night in the 3900 block of Summit View Drive in Thousand Oaks.
Locklear was also arrested for three counts of battery on emergency personnel, authorities said.
According to the 911 call, Heather's brother came to her home and saw Heather and her boyfriend fighting. The brother called 911. We're told cops observed that the boyfriend had a visible mark.
Law enforcement sources tell us when cops tried putting Heather in custody she became combative, flailing, kicking and struck 3 deputies. Heather was cuffed and taken to the hospital for evaluation.
The 56-year-old has had troubles in the past with substance abuse ... she has been arrested for DUI and had issues with prescription drugs. Cops aren't saying who she allegedly attacked in the home.
Online records show that the 56-year-old actress has since been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court March 13.Heather Locklear arrested for domestic violence
