The Clark County District Attorney's office has submitted paperwork for the arrest of Tea Party candidate Scott Ashjian.

Ashjian lost his contractor's license last Wednesday when he didn't show for a disciplinary hearing.

Two days later, the district attorney's office filed charges on him for felony theft.

They say he wrote a bogus check for $5,000 to a businessman in December.

Reid gets a break. Dunno if it will really help him but it could.

It is being debated in other places that the Tea Party candidate is a leftwing ruse to divide the vote and insure harry's win, but any way you slice it, this is good news.
The news that this person is not acting in good faith in business should deny him a vote from any one with one working brain cell.

Yeah, that's my point. The OP is saying this guy no longer being in the race is a good thing for Reid. It's the exact opposite. Ashjian's candidacy was hardly a sure thing for Reid's reelection bid anyway. He hasn't even been a blip on the radar. Most third party candidates don't garner enough support to throw a race the other way.
