LONDON — As suspects go, Ryan Cleary did not look dangerous: a pale 19-year-old who looked five years younger, wearing a white skateboarding T-shirt and track pants, standing nervously in a courtroom here on Thursday.
But charges by the British police link Mr. Cleary to a hacking group called Lulz Security, or LulzSec, which has been on an Internet crime spree in recent weeks, attacking Web sites and computer networks including those of the United States Senate, the Central Intelligence Agency and Sony.

    Good for them catching him!

I think in time, all hackers will be caught one way or another. The technology won't let them get away with this much longer.

LulzSec Hackers 'at Cutting Edge' of Cyber Crime
May 15, 2013 — Four British hackers who took part in 2011 cyber-attacks on targets ranging from the CIA to Sony were audacious, arrogant men whose motivation was “anarchic self-amusement'', a court heard on Wednesday.

Hopefully hackers will always be ahead of the technology. The internet is one of the last free places left on this planet. I'll bet that kid never hacked anyone that didn't deserve it.

Yeah, cause robbing banks using stolen debit card numbers is so noble. The Chinese committing espionage is so good for "freedom"....use your head man.

"Freedom" does not include breaking laws, stealing from banks (and customers), stealing intellectual property or hacking just because "you can." Any moron with a Internet connection can do that - and hopefully the good guys will kick the bad guy's fat asses.

Lets see how much you love freedom when its your bank account that gets cleaned out or your credit card # that gets boosted.
