Looks like to me a bunch of white people who dragged their kids to these protests while complaining that Obama is turning this country into a Socialism kind. (And I mention white because I didn't see one non-white protesting; which is ).

Never mind the fact none of these people actually know what Socialism means. But why care about facts?

They are white so it doesn't matter right? Better watch out for the Bubba effect.

This crowd got absolutely no MSM coverage, while any time a few hippies showed up to protest Bush it made the news. Inside the school auditorium, students laughed at some of the comments Obama made, and not because of any intent to be rude but because of the lack of sense his statements made.

Afterwards one student asked why he came there to appear at their school and then say absolutely nothing about education; as if that speach had anything to doo with education.

Would people agree europe is a socialist nation? If so, 46% of europes GNP comes from their government. Now that our own government is spending 800 billion dollars subsidizing this and that, bailing out this and that, and creating over 200 NEW government agencies that will NEVER go away growing an ALREADY bloated government even bigger, our own government will now make up 40% of our GNP, and that's mighty damn close to europe. Yes, we are very freaking close to being a socialist nation, and if obama continues to spend money like he's doing, and yes, he's asking for more, we WILL be a socialist nation, and there's not a person here with two brain cells to rub together that will be able to deny it.

So like it or not, you liberals are on the losing end of this argument.

Actually, not race baiting. But it's ironic that a seemingly innocent comment that is fact is taken as a racist remark or something that is saying those people are racist.

Not my fault there weren't any non-white people protesting in that montage of clips.

unknown if they were protestors, but I counted several latino people there if they qualify. Still, I for one wonder why that is an issue, except that some have to grasp at straws to discredit andy show President Obama's and HIS Stimulus Bill's actual unpopularity.

There was a comment earlier in this thread that there might've been a hundred people there. Here's a good shot showing that there were perhaps 3 to 5 times that many, maybe more. It seems to me to be more the remarkable that ordinary folks who don't usually become incensed enough to leave their jobs or break out of daily routine to protest like this.

Here in our own University town of IU (Bloomington, Indiana) in the Midwest we've seen lots of protests during the years of the Bush Administration, but never any with the sense of humor expressed by this one.

In pic number 51 Harry Mitchell , Congressman (Dem-Az's 5th district), was there and he looked as if he might be taking this somewhat seriously. Where was the media from ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, etc, etc. reporting this to the public? They must have reporters there for this.
A good reporter is one who challenges the conventional wisdom.
If you don't do that you fail in one of your duties.
