Removing an AG who's against the law and likely would've thrown the fight hardly comes as a surprise.

The Arizona AG won't defend the anti-illegal law? Then the Governor did the right thing in telling him to step down.

Dante, thankies for this story...I especially liked the part where it is reported that Obama, US AG Holder, Homeland Security Chief Napolitano and the White House staff have not yet READ the AZ anti-illegal law.

Here's the text of the law, in case anyone NOT employed by the Obama Administration would like to read it:

Would you want your lawyer meeting with the other side, and holding pressers to denounce your case? His job is to defend the law, not help the other side to overturn it. He should be brought up on ethics charges and disbarred.

Brewer might just make it to president - or maybe Arpaio?

It's NOT the OTHER side. It's the government's side. Even Obama and Bush have sent their admins lawyers to defend things they said they didn't agree with. The lawyer represents the government's view, not the OTHER side.

you people need tto beef up on how Attns' General and government lawyers work.

I love love love Arpaio, but I don't think he'd be a viable candidate. Not enough bullshitting ability.
