Opinion in Britain remains unchanged as far as I'm aware. If the islanders wish to remain British subjects then the British Government will continue to support their right to self determination.

I'm sure this pisses Argentina off, but I'm not sure there's a solution. Either Argentina has to back off, or the islanders have to change their minds, or Parliament has to change policy 180 degrees. I don't see any of those 3 happening any time soon.

Video brings the memories flooding back. Surprising perhaps that so many of the images are still so vivid to me after so many years.
