Are your eyes beautiful or ugly?

The second step is:
To strengthen the factors that will prevent one acting in accordance with oneā€™s desires. This is achieved in a number of ways, including the following:
1 ā€“ Strengthening the faith in oneā€™s heart and strengthening oneā€™s relationship with Allaah. This may be achieved by remembering Allaah a great deal, reading Qurā€™aan, thinking of the names and attributes of Allaah, and doing a lot of naafil prayers. Belief strengthens the heart and soul, and it helps one to resist temptation.

2 ā€“ Fasting, as taught by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) when he said: ā€œO young men, whoever among you can afford to, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and in guarding oneā€™s chastity. Whoever cannot afford it, then let him fast, for it will be a shield for him.ā€ This is addressed to young men, but it also includes young women.

3 ā€“ Strengthening oneā€™s resolve and willpower, for this will make a young woman able to resist and control her desires.

4 ā€“ Remembering what Allaah has prepared for righteous young women. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
ā€œVerily, the Muslims (those who submit to Allaah in Islam) men and women, the believers men and women (who believe in Islamic Monotheism), the men and the women who are obedient (to Allaah), the men and women who are truthful (in their speech and deeds), the men and the women who are patient (in performing all the duties which Allaah has ordered

and in abstaining from all that Allaah has forbidden), the men and the women who are humble (before their Lord Allaah), the men and the women who give Sadaqaat (i.e. Zakaah and alms), the men and the women who observe Sawm (fast) (the obligatory fasting during the month of Ramadaan, and the optional Nawafil fasting), the men and the women who guard their chastity (from illegal sexual acts) and the men and the women who remember Allaah much with their hearts and tongues. Allaah has prepared for them forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise)ā€
[al-Ahzaab 33:35]

5 ā€“ Thinking about the lives of righteous women who guarded their chastity, such as Maryam, whom Allaah praises in the Qurā€™aan (interpretation of the meaning):
ā€œAnd Maryam (Mary), the daughter of ā€˜Imraan who guarded her chastity. And We breathed into (the sleeve of her shirt or her garment) through Our Rooh [i.e. Jibreel (Gabriel)], and she testified to the truth of the Words of her Lord [i.e. believed in the Words of Allaah: ā€œBe!ā€ and he was; that is ā€˜Eesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary) as a Messenger of Allaah], and (also believed in) His Scriptures, and she was of the Qaanitoon (i.e. obedient to Allaah)ā€
[al-Tahreem 66:12]
And thinking about the immoral, fallen women, and comparing between the two types, for there is a huge difference between them.

6 ā€“ Choosing righteous companions and spending time with them, so that they can help one another to obey and worship Allaah.

7 ā€“ Comparing the effects of immediate fulfillment of desire when a girl responds to haraam, which is followed by loss of pleasure and all that is left is regret and sorrow, with patience and striving against oneā€™s whims and desires, and realizing that the pleasure of conquering oneā€™s whim and desires is far greater than the pleasures of enjoying haraam things.

8 ā€“ Seeking help by calling upon Allaah and asking Him for help. The Qurā€™aan tells us the lesson to be learned from the story of Yoosuf (peace be upon him):
ā€œHe said: ā€˜O my Lord! Prison is dearer to me than that to which they invite me. Unless You turn away their plot from me, I will feel inclined towards them and be one (of those who commit sin and deserve blame or those who do deeds) of the ignorantā€™
So his Lord answered his invocation and turned away from him their plot. Verily, He is the All Hearer, the All Knowerā€
[Yoosuf 12:33 ā€“ interpretation of the meaning]

No excuses for acting like an animal. No need for a list of ' rules.' Any so-called 'man' who is too stupid and weak to act like a human being in civilized society needs to be put away or put down. That is all. If every woman in a city chooses to walk around in a teeny-bikini, that is 0.00000% excuse for any vile little fucking weakling to fail to exercise self control. Put away or put down, that is all.
Example of twin sisters

Suppose two sisters who are twins, and who are equally beautiful, walk down the street. One of them is attired in the Islamic hijaab i.e. the complete body is covered, except for the face and the hands upto the wrists. The other sister is wearing western clothes, a miniskirt or shorts. Just around the corner there is a hooligan or ruffian who is waiting for a catch, to tease a girl. Whom will he tease? The girl wearing the Islamic Hijaab or the girl wearing the skirt or the mini? Naturally he will tease the girl wearing the skirt or the mini. Such dresses are an indirect invitation to the opposite sex for teasing and molestation. .......

Anyone who thinks the 'problem' in that little story has anything to do with either sister is a dumb-as-shit, low-life piece of crap who is unworthy of living in civilized society. The one and only problem is the "ruffian," who doesn't need a book or a list. All he needs is to be put away or put down like a diseased animal. Anyone who can't understand that can stay the fuck away from civilized society or be prepared to be crushed like the vermin they are.

Slant eyes aren't very beautiful. They look like they're always smelling a fart or something.

Allaah The Almighty Says (what means):

{Tell the believing men to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts. That is purer for them. Indeed, Allaah is Acquainted with what they do. And tell the believing women to reduce [some] of their vision and guard their private parts and not expose their adornment except that which [necessarily] appears thereof and to wrap [a portion of] their headcovers over their chests and not expose their adornment except to their husbands, their fathers, their husbandsā€™ fathers, their sons, their husbandsā€™ sons, their brothers, their brothersā€™ sons, their sistersā€™ sons, their women, that which their right hands possess, or those male attendants having no physical desire, or children who are not yet aware of the private aspects of women. And let them not stamp their feet to make known what they conceal of their adornment. And turn to Allaah in repentance, all of you, O believers, that you might succeed.} (Quran 24: 30-31)

In these verses, Allaah The Almighty orders the believing men and women to lower their gaze and guard their modesty for their own benefit and to attain greater purity.

According to the consensus of the scholars, the purity mentioned in these verses is the purity from sins. However, in the modern context, purity may also mean guarding against the harmful diseases which may afflict a person as a result of not following the commands of Allaah The Almighty. Besides, it could also mean both purity from sins and guard against diseases .

The Prophet, , has said that directing a look at non-Mahram (marriageable) women is like a poisoned arrow.

This means that it is very dangerous and could lead to widespread Fitnah (trial).

From the scientific and physiological point of view, the act of looking or gazing upon non-Mahram women sets off a complex process of hormonal stimulation and release, and prepares the body and the sex organs for the process of sexual intercourse.

It is well known that the effects of stimulating sexual desire through unnatural or prohibited means has numerous harmful effects on the mind and body.

Islam has warned us against unlawfully stimulating these hormones through the words of the Prophet, . The chief Islamic injunctions in this regard are:

ā€¢ To lower one's gaze and not look upon non-Mahram women.

ā€¢ Women should not display their beauty in front of non-Mahram men or wear perfume when they go outdoors.

ā€¢ Non-Mahram men and women are prohibited from staying in the same room together in seclusion or coming in close contact.

ā€¢ Early marriage is recommended for both men and women if they can afford it.

ā€¢ Fasting is a means to control one's illegitimate desires if one cannot afford marriage.

ā€¢ Women should not refuse when their husband asks for conjugal relations, because this mean that the sex hormones that trigger physiological responses will continue circulating in his body and may cause harm.

ā€¢ To wash oneself after an conjugal relations, as this has a calming effect on the body.

Harmful effects of unlawful sexual stimulation

The drawbacks mentioned here are based on observation and experience :

Effects on the Skin

ā€¢ Increased body odor and increased secretion from the sweat glands -- especially from the feet, axilla and palms.

ā€¢ Increased secretion from the ano-rectal gland where special sweat glands called sudoriferous glands are located. This area is also the site of frequent inflammation and the formation of abscesses, since these glands are active in early puberty. In some animals, these glands secrete odoriferous substances during the mating season.

ā€¢ Inflammation of the sebaceous glands on the face causes acne which is caused by infection of the skin by bacteria.

ā€¢ The sweat glands around the anus are also affected resulting in their inflammation and the formation of peri-anal abscesses.

Effect on the Central Nervous System:

ā€¢ Sex hormones causes lethargy and unexplained heaviness in the head or headaches.

ā€¢ There may be heaviness or burning sensation in the peripheral nerves especially in the palms and feet and the tongue may feel dry and difficult to move inside the mouth. This condition is called peripheral neuropathy.

Effect on the joints:

Certain hormones affect the synovial fluid in the joints -- especially large joints like the knee and hip joint affecting joint movement. This could result from two factors:

ā€¢ A change in the viscosity of the synovial fluid in these joints which reduces the articular cartilage nourishment and increases friction.

ā€¢ The second is the increased tightness of the surrounding ligaments which lead to an increase in joint friction.

If the joints are already affected by mild osteoarthritis the effect on these result in a pseudogout syndrome. In young girls they cause what is called anterior knee pain disease.

Effect on the cardiovascular system (CVS):

1- They slow the heart rate due to their effect on the SA nodes directly.

2- They cause dilatation of the peripheral veins.

3- The bleeding time in the presence of these hormones is also longer than the normal.

4- These hormones cause dilatation of the large and coronary arteries, at the same time cause constriction of the peripheral arteries resulting in the elevation of blood pressure.

The combination of these three factors (slow heart rate, venous dilatation, and altered bleeding/coagulation time) may result in conditions like deep vein thrombosis and Raynaud's phenomenon.

Effect on the Gastrointestinal System:

Impaired circulation leads to conditions like constipation, anal fissure, haemmorhoids and colonicdiverticular disease

The prostate is one of the organs, which is stimulated by these hormones and due to this constant stimulation it starts showing symptoms of prostatic hypertrophy.

Effect on Soft Tissue:

In certain conditions, the circulation of these hormones leading to thickening of the soft tissue and loss of tissue elasticity causing conditions like the Carpel Tunnel Syndrome.

Someone told me

This law has produced results in numerous Western social orders where individuals have acknowledged infidelity and homosexuality and even engendered them. In his book Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Dr. Schofield composed that tolerance has turned into the response of society despite all sexual practices. Individuals are no more embarrassed of infidelity, homosexuality, or some other sexual depravity. What compounds an already painful situation is that the broad communications has taught in the personalities of individuals that young people and ladies ought not stay pure.

1) The traps of Satan include:

a. Kufr (disbelief).

b. Innovations.

c. Following ones desires.

d. Taking and giving Islamic judgments without knowledge.

e. Stinginess and fear of poverty.

f. Anger.

g. Extravagance and negligence.

But God gives to man the blessings and forgive his sins.

I reached the following conclusions:

1- Attraction between the sexes can occur in any circumstances, no matter how much men and women may deny that. The attraction may start within the bounds of shareeā€™ah and end up going beyond those bounds.

Even if a person protects himself (by marriage), he is not safe from the snares of the Shaytaan.

3- Even though a person may be able to guarantee himself and he works with the opposite sex within reasonable limits, he cannot guarantee the feelings of the other party.

Finally, there is nothing good in mixing and it does not bear fruit as they claim. On the contrary, it corrupts sound thinking.

What now?

We may ask, what comes next, after this discussion on the matter of mixing?

Itā€™s about time for us to recognize that no matter how we try to beautify the issue of mixing and take the matter lightly, its consequences are bound to catch up with us, and the harm it causes will have disastrous results for our families. Sound common sense refuses to accept that mixing is a healthy atmosphere for human relations. This is the sound common sense which made most of the people included in this survey (76%) prefer working in a non-mixed environment. The same percentage (76%) said that mixing is not permitted according to the shareeā€™ah. What makes us sit up and take notice is not this honourable percentage ā€“ which indicates the purity of our Islamic society and the cleanness of its membersā€™ hearts ā€“ but the small number who said that mixing is permitted; they number 12%. This group, with no exceptions, said that mixing is permitted but within the limits set by religion, custom (ā€˜urf), traditions, good manners, conscience, modesty, covering and other worthy values which, in their opinion, keep mixing within proper limits.

We ask them: is the mixing which we see nowadays in our universities, market-places, work-places and family and social gatherings, taking place within the limits referred to above? Or are these places filled with transgressions in terms of clothing, speech, interactions and behaviour? We see wanton displays of adornment (tabarruj), not proper covering; we see fitnah (temptations) and dubious relationships, with no good manners and no conscience and no covering. We can conclude that the kind of mixing that is happening nowadays is unacceptable even to those who approve of mixing in a clean atmosphere.

Itā€™s about time for us to recognize that mixing provides a fertile breeding-ground for social poisons to invade and take over our society without anyone ever realizing that it is mixing which is the cause. Mixing is the prime element in this silent fitnah, in the shade of which betrayals erupt, homes are wrecked and hearts are broken.

The Muslim should not doubt, even for an instant, that what Allaah has prescribed is wise. He should know that there is great wisdom in what Allaah has commanded and what He has forbidden; it is the straight path and is the only way in which man can be safe and at peace, protecting his honour, his mind and his health, in accordance with the natural disposition (fitrah) with which Allaah has created man.

Some heretics have tried to attack Islam and its rulings; they have denounced divorce and plural marriage and permitted alcohol. Those who look at the state of their societies will see the state of misery which those societies have reached.

When they rejected divorce, murder took its place. When they rejected plural marriage, men started to take mistresses instead. When they allowed alcohol, all kinds of shameful and immoral actions became widespread.

They (gays and lesbians) both go against the natural disposition (fitrah) which Allaah has created in mankind ā€“ and also in animals ā€“ whereby the male is inclined towards the female, and vice versa.
Whoever goes against that goes against the natural disposition of mankind, the fitrah.

The spread of homosexuality has caused man diseases which neither the east nor the west can deny exist because of them. Even if the only result of this perversion was AIDS ā€“ which attacks the immune system in humans ā€“ that would be enough.

It also causes the breakup of the family and leads people to give up their work and study because they are preoccupied with these perversions.

Since the prohibition has come from his Lord, the Muslim should not wait until medicine proves that harm befalls the one who does that which Allaah has forbidden. Rather he must believe firmly that Allaah only prescribes that which is good for people, and these modern discoveries should only increase his certainty and confidence in the greatness of Allaahā€™s wisdom.

Ibn al-Qayyim said:

Both of them ā€“ fornication and homosexuality ā€“ involve immorality that goes against the wisdom of Allaahā€™s creation and commandment. For homosexuality involves innumerable evil and harms, and the one to whom it is done would be better off being killed than having this done to him, because after that he will become so evil and so corrupt that there can be no hope of his being reformed, and all good is lost for him, and he will no longer feel any shame before Allaah or before His creation. The semen of the one who did that to him will act as a poison on his body and soul. The scholars differed as to whether the one to whom it is done will ever enter Paradise. There are two opinions which I heard Shaykh al-Islam (may Allaah have mercy on him) narrate.ā€

(al-Jawaab al-Kaafi, p. 115).

2. Lesbianism means one woman doing to another something like that which a man does to a woman. Homosexuality means having intercourse with males in the back passage. This was the action of the accursed people of the Prophet of Allaah Loot (peace be upon him). In shareeā€™ah terminology it refers to inserting the tip of the penis into the anus of a male.

What is mentioned concerning these actions in the Qurā€™aan and Sunnah:

A ā€“ Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

ā€œAnd (remember) Loot (Lot), when he said to his people: ā€˜Do you commit the worst sin such as none preceding you has committed in the ā€˜Aalameen (mankind and jinn)?

Verily, you practise your lusts on men instead of women. Nay, but you are a people transgressing beyond bounds (by committing great sins)ā€™ā€

[al-Aā€™raaf 7:80-81]

B ā€“ ā€œVerily, We sent against them a violent storm of stones (which destroyed them all), except the family of Loot (Lot), them We saved in the last hour of the nightā€

[al-Qamar 54:34 ā€“ interpretation of the meaning]

C ā€“ ā€œAnd (remember) Loot (Lot), when he said to his people: ā€˜Do you commit the worst sin such as none preceding you has committed in the ā€˜Aalameen (mankind and jinn)?ā€

[al-Aā€™raaf 7:80 ā€“ interpretation of the meaning]

And Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

ā€œAnd (remember) Loot (Lot), when he said to his people: ā€˜You commit Alā€‘Faahishah (sodomy the worst sin) which none has preceded you in (committing) it in the ā€˜Aalameen (mankind and jinn)ā€™ā€

[al-ā€˜Ankaboot 29:28]

D ā€“ ā€œAnd (remember) Loot (Lot), We gave him Hukm (right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) and (religious) knowledge, and We saved him from the town (folk) who practised Alā€‘Khabaaā€™ith (evil, wicked and filthy deeds). Verily, they were a people given to evil, and were Faasiqoon (rebellious, disobedient to Allaah)ā€

[al-Anbiyaā€™ 21:74 ā€“ interpretation of the meaning]

E ā€“ ā€œAnd (remember) Loot (Lot)! When he said to his people, ā€˜Do you commit Alā€‘Faahishah (evil, great sin, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, sodomy) while you see (one another doing evil without any screen)

Do you practise your lusts on men instead of women? Nay, but you are a people who behave senselessly.ā€™

There was no other answer given by his people except that they said: ā€˜Drive out the family of Loot (Lot) from your city. Verily, these are men who want to be clean and pure!ā€™

So We saved him and his family, except his wife. We destined her to be of those who remained behind.

And We rained down on them a rain (of stones). So evil was the rain of those who were warnedā€

[al-Naml 27:54-58 ā€“ interpretation of the meaning]

These verses refer to the punishment that befell the people of Loot. With regard to the rulings on them:

F ā€“ Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning]:

ā€œAnd the two persons (man and woman) among you who commit illegal sexual intercourse, hurt them both. And if they repent (promise Allaah that they will never repeat, i.e. commit illegal sexual intercourse and other similar sins) and do righteous good deeds, leave them alone. Surely, Allaah is Ever All-Forgiving (the One Who forgives and accepts repentance), (and He is) Most Mercifulā€

[al-Nisaā€™ 4:16]

Ibn Katheer said:

ā€œThe words of Allaah ā€˜And the two persons (man and woman) among you who commit illegal sexual intercourse, hurt them bothā€™ mean, those who commit immoral actions, punish them both. Ibn ā€˜Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him), Saā€™eed ibn Jubayr and others said: By condemning them, shaming them and hitting them with shoes. This was the ruling until Allaah abrogated it and replaced it with whipping and stoning. ā€˜Ikrimah, ā€˜Ata, al-Hasan and ā€˜Abd-Allaah ibn Katheer said: This was revealed concerning a man and woman who commit fornication. Al-Saddi said, it was revealed concerning young people before they get married. Mujaahid said: it was revealed concerning two men if they admit it bluntly; a hint is not sufficient ā€“ as if he was referring to homosexuality. And Allaah knows best.ā€

(Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 1/463).

G ā€“ It was narrated that Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him): ā€œThe Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ā€˜There is nothing I fear for my ummah more than the deed of the people of Loot.ā€™ā€

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1457; Ibn Maajah, 2563. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani (may Allaah have mercy on him) in Saheeh al-Jaamiā€™, no. 1552).

H ā€“ It was narrated that Ibn ā€˜Abbaas said: ā€œThe Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ā€œā€¦ cursed is the one who has intercourse with an animal, cursed is the one who does the action of the people of Loot.ā€

(Narrated by Ahmad, 1878. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaamiā€™, no. 5891).

I ā€“ It was narrated that Ibn ā€˜Abbaas said: ā€œThe Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ā€˜Whoever you find doing the deed of the people of Loot, kill the one who does it and the one to whom it is done.ā€

(Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 1456; Abu Dawood, 4462; Ibn Maajah, 2561. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaamiā€™, no. 6589).
