Are you war mongering lefties satisfied yet?

You do realize that Obama does not command UN missiles right? Oh also, the POTUS is prohibited by law from authorizing assassinations of foreign leaders, although I wish that weren't so.

I doesn't take a brain to understand that NATO -r-us. It's like saying that Truman wasn't responsible for Korea because it was a UN operation or VietNam wasn't LBJ's baby. Go ahead lefties, pretend that B. Hussein is just a peace loving community activist.

I'm not a lefite you loon. And no , the US does not control NATO.

How many Predator Drones does any NATO member, other than the US, have? At least they killed three children that might have grown up to be terrorists.

A NATO missile struck the house of Libyian president Gadhafi killing his son and three grand kids. Do liberals think we should kill the families of every tyrant who disagrees with NATO policy?

If necessary, sure, why not?

We don't seem to care if we kill the families of the people living under tyrants, do we?

Why should the tryrants get a pass their people never get?

What? Do you love tyrants or something?

Now your making excuses for Obama. The Democrats in Congress passed a law that says the U.S. government cannot assassinate foreign leaders. All the drones went ballistic and accused Reagan of violating this law when he bombed Ghadaffi, but now you're eager to look the other way?

There's no hypocrisy as profound as liberal hypocrisy.

actually, there's no one as hypocritical as a rightwngnut neocon loon.

you are aware that this is a NATO mission, right? An ACTUAL coalition instead of a made-up one.

May I add to your screed, who gives a rats ass about a bunch of rag heads and their kids? Don't you agree?

And when did the U.N. give NATO the authority to attack anyone without U.N. permission?

Even if it did, how does that give Obama the right to violate a law passed by Congress?

Do lefties ever think, or do they just spew knee jerk excuses for their Messiah?

Lad, I'm telling you that tryrants and their families have to accept the same risk that they put their own people into.

It doesn't matter who is running the White House.

The United States of America has murdered millions of families in the last 100 years.

Why shouldn't we target the leaders of the nation we are at war with?

They aren't legitimate targets?!

Neither are the homes of their people, but we targeted those without a thought to it.

I believe that when at war, the leaders are as legitimate a target as any other in that nation.

And what their fashion sense is (re: "a bunch of rag heads" ) has nothing to do with that POV

Incidently, TT? A "screed" is a long political diatribe.

Not that I am not capable of writing a screed, but that particular post just doesn't qualify.

screed/skrēd/Noun
1. A long speech or piece of writing, typically one regarded as tedious.

You'll have to take that up with the Democrats in Congress. They passed a law saying the government cannot assassinate foreign leaders.

Are you saying the government should ignore its own laws? I can't imagine anything more hypocritical, but it is so beautifully liberal!

When did anyone declare war on Libya? Even if we did, the law makes no exception for wartime. It's illegal for our government to assassinate foreign leaders, no matter what the reason or state of relations between our two countries.

You guys really want to know the funny part?

The pathetic attempts of the rightwing to sell

Libya=Iraq

And when RW the hack says "rightwing" he means Rightwingers/Leftwingers and Indys because that's who views Obama's war(s) as wars no matter how much spin is put on them.

Gee.....all-of-a-sudden, White Wingers are concerned about Brown-people dying, right?

I'm surprised you lefties didn't cite Reagan's attack on Libya. Maybe most of you leftie posters aren't old enough to remember. Anyway Reagan's attack was in response for Libya's alleged sponsored terrorism in the Lockerbee plane bombing that killed American citizens. It's ironic that Obama supported the release of the Lockerbee bomber and yet authorizes the assassination of Gadhafi when there is no US interest involved.

2005

"On Monday, Gaddafi accomplished one of history's great diplomatic turnarounds when Secretary of State Condeleezza Rice announced that the U.S. was restoring full diplomatic relations with Libya and held up the Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya as "a model" for others to follow. Rice attributed the ending of the U.S.'s long break in diplomatic relations to Gaddafi's historic decision in 2003 to dismantle weapons of mass destruction and renounce terrorism as well as Libya's "excellent cooperation in response to common global threats faced by the civilized world since September 11, 2001."

And we know if Bush had done this the media would be screaming and talking about chickens coming home to roost.
Anyone who thinks the media has not given Obama a pass and is not in bed with him needs to go commit suicide.

What reality do you live in? The MSM media was the biggest cheerleader of the Iraq War.

The only anti-war MSM media personality that was anti-war, was Phil Donahue who was quickly fired for his anti-war stance over at MSNBC.

Seriously, why are you so far removed from reality?

This is a joke... right? Please tell me this is a joke....

Yea War Mongering is all the rage with Left/Democrats these days. I still don't understand why we're bombing the Hell out of Libya. Most Americans don't either. They just murdered his Son and Grandchildren and i see the Left/Democrats jumping for joy over it. That's just seems so sick to me. I'm not defending Gaddafi but murdering his Son and Grandchildren just seems immoral and unjust. It's certainly nothing to celebrate. Oh well,so much for that "Anti-War Left." They seem to just love Obomba's Bombs.
