Remember the days when unemployment was around 5%, gasoline was just over $1.50 a gallon, the value of your home exceed that of your mortgage...........
yeah, those were hard times.
Good thing we've got Obama, eh?

Interesting. You are paying twice as much for energy, your neighbor is out of a job, foreclosures are driving down property rate, but you're better off?
Toke it up.

Toke it up.

Because all of these things are directly Obama's fault, eh?

No, but unlike those above me I live in the real world not some isolated bubble. My small business has lost 22% in gross sales in the last 3 years. I've laid off 50% of my help as well. I consider myself to be lucky that I had a strong customer base to get referrals from. Without that I would have gone under over a year ago

Not happy about greed mongers stiffing energy. Mostly because I see it as directly responsible for hampering economic recovery. But God has been good and I am in defintely a better position than 4 years ago. No thanks to Obama, Congress, Republicans or Democrats.

I have more income and a whole lot less debt. This has been a great 6 years.

Laissez les bons temps rouler.

No.....Even though my income level has risen substantially and I was able to refinance my mortgage, our living expenses have risen dramatically.
Gasoline has doubled. Utility rates have risen far more rapidly than inflation. I can no longer buy a used vehicle because values have risen so much. Food prices, especially dairy, corn based products, cocoa based foods, poultry and beef have all far and away exceeded inflation.
All of the above can be tied directly to Obama policies.

Not sure what is more pathetic. This guy ignoring the obvious, or laughing at people as they suffer.

Modbert,
They are all figure heads owned by the same small group.

I actually was editing that post when you quoted it. I couldn't believe he was serious for a moment, then I realized I'm on USMB.

Obama is a magical wizard I suppose who is ruining everything with his socialist buddies and his Wall Street buddies at the same time if you listen to the echo chamber.

You might stop and realize your in the Obama economy of 2011.
Funny shit, isn't it?

Yes, I owe nothing, and if the cons refuse to raise the debt limit I'll make good money on the high interest rates.
