Are We Really a Christian Nation ?

There are two ministers. Both involved in politics, one an outspoken republican and the other an outspoken democrat. Each one putting his political party first. They argue and criticize other Christians who disagree with their political views. They divide Christians and encourage quarreling among them. Is this right in Gods sight? Should Christians align themselves to a political party? As Christians shouldn't our purpose and focus be to do Gods will? According to God's word, we are not representatives of a political party; but instead we are representatives of Christ. The Holy Spirit is never and cannot be double minded. Both political parties republican and democratic alike have this in common; they both lack the guidance of the Holy Spirit. So are we really a Christian nation? Is Christ the focus of our nation? And what about the church? Is the church influencing the world? Or is the world influencing the church? When you hear contemporary gospel music do you feel the presence of the holy spirit? Does it make you want to worship God? As Christians do we produce the fruit of the spirit? According to Gal. 5: 22-23(NLT) the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Is there a distinction between those who call themselves Christians from non-Christians? Do we have church leaders who overtly practice sin? Do we have Christians who knowingly ignore the practice of sin by church leaders? As a nation do we promote or support sins against God? As a nation do we promote or support sexual immorality? As a nation do we promote or support homosexuality? As a nation do we promote or support idolatry?

As a nation do we promote or support prayer in school? As a nation do we promote or support removing Christ from Christmas? As a nation do we promote or support celebrating a rabbit instead of the cross? As a nation do we promote or support materialism? As a nation do we teach our children to live a life accountable to God? As a nation do we submit to God? As a nation do we put God first? As a nation are we proud and arrogant? And is it not God who sets himself against the proud and arrogant? As a nation do we promote or support separation between church and state? As Christians we are the church and the church is the body of Christ. Anything apart or separated from Christ is dead! Rather it be one person or a whole nation. So are we really a Christian nation? You tell me!

The Christian Nation Myth

Whenever the Supreme Court makes a decision that in any way restricts the intrusion of religion into the affairs of government, a flood of editorials, articles, and letters protesting the ruling is sure to appear in the newspapers. Many protesters decry these decisions on the grounds that they conflict with the wishes and intents of the "founding fathers."

Such a view of American history is completely contrary to known facts. The primary leaders of the so-called founding fathers of our nation were not Bible-believing Christians; they were deists. Deism was a philosophical belief that was widely accepted by the colonial intelligentsia at the time of the American Revolution. Its major tenets included belief in human reason as a reliable means of solving social and political problems and belief in a supreme deity who created the universe to operate solely by natural laws. The supreme God of the Deists removed himself entirely from the universe after creating it. They believed that he assumed no control over it, exerted no influence on natural phenomena, and gave no supernatural revelation to man. A necessary consequence of these beliefs was a rejection of many doctrines central to the Christian religion. Deists did not believe in the virgin birth, divinity, or resurrection of Jesus, the efficacy of prayer, the miracles of the Bible, or even the divine inspiration of the Bible.

These beliefs were forcefully articulated by Thomas Paine in Age of Reason, a book that so outraged his contemporaries that he died rejected and despised by the nation that had once revered him as "the father of the American Revolution." To this day, many mistakenly consider him an atheist, even though he was an out spoken defender of the Deistic view of God. Other important founding fathers who espoused Deism were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Ethan Allen, James Madison, and James Monroe.

I suppose I would be considered an Atheist, or an Agnostic by most.

I don't believe in the Anthropomorphic god of the Organized Religions of the World. I find that concept ludicrous because, if one reads the dogmas printed in their "holy" books, that type of God seems to be a helluva lot worse than scores of people I personally know.

Actually, I believe in Einstein's or Spinoza's God......even though quite a few Christians, like that phoney-baloney deSouza claims that Einstein was a Christian....or had Christian leanings....when Einstein VOCIFEROUSLY denied that crap and reiterated that he believed in Spinoza's God (who was a Pantheist) in answer to whether he, Einstein, was a Christian.

IOW, we Pantheists, believe that IF there is a God......then He is the Sum Total of the Laws of the Universe.

Any rational person should realize that, using his life's experiences, the obvious conclusion is that praying to the God of the Organized Religions has the same statistical odds of the realization of the positive result is the same as praying to the nearest rock in your garden. Of course, there will be some religious idiots who may try to convince us of their own miraculous successes. That is to say, God stopped the natural workings of the Universe to bestow some special favors to that delusional idiot.

We Pantheists believe that praying to our God (if He exists), is like praying to the lightening so that it won't strike you. And that when we kick the bucket we will be fertilizer no different than the lowly cockroach snuffling around hither and yon.

Of course, that Fate is just to terrible for the followers of the Organized Religions of the World who believe in something like humping 72 virgins for Eternity, or to have Heavenly chit-chats with Jesus.

Bottom line: Is America a Christian Nation ?

Answer: Since the stats are that 85% (?) of America profess to be Christians.....ostensibly America is a Christian Nation.

And, I am glad we are a Christian Nation in this era where the lovable Christians are NOT the barbaric whackjob Christians during Medieval Times who were divided into Catholics and Protestants who merrily slaughtered each other for centuries (?), and any body else.....with such wonderful high points as the Spanish Inquisition where Savanarola, the Jesuit favorite of Popey-Dopey, tortured his victims with such sadistic virtuosity that one might say it brought tears to ones eyes.

BTW, Popey-Dopey never publicly condoned these acts of Religious Fervor. But, there is no way the Popey-Dopey of that time couldn't have known of this Religious Happening since all of Europe knew about it, and it was his duty to be aware of what was happening in the Religious World....especially the doings of his favorite priest.

That is not to say that Secular Rule in the World has been all Peaches & Cream. We have had the Genghiz Khans, Attila the Huns, Nazis, Communists like Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, and the other maniacal Psycho Pol Pot, etc., who surpassed even the Christian Luminaries.

And NOW, believe it or not, we have the fucking Muslims whom a great majority claim that the overwhelming number of whom are "moderate....peace-loving Muslims".....in spite of the fact that the Qu'ran, their fucking "HOLY" book is concocted by one of the vilest humans that ever graced this Earth: The HISTORICALLY DOCUMENTED THIEF, MASS MURDERER, RAPIST & PEDOPHILIC RAPIST MOHAMMED !!!

Mohammed very clearly enunciated and proclaimed as the MOST IMPORTANT INSTRUCTION or DICTUM in the QU'RAN AS: "Make the World the Caliphate of Islam preferably by word, by SWORD (caps mine) if necessary."

Mohammed also proclaimed that ALL the instructions in the Qu'ran if in conflict with the LATER INSTRUCTIONS in the Qu'ran should be abrogated in favor of the LATER VERSIONS !!!......thus all the phoney beneficent recognition of the infidels' IS ABROGATED IN THE LATER VERSIONS !!!

Finally, for those who are ignorant of the Qu'ran: The Qu'ran has the TAQIYAH: i.e. the instruction that one should LIE if it furthers the cause of Islam. That is significantly different from the Catholic approved practice of "lying if it will save your life". A practice used by Catholics with the Nazis. There is a Catholic term for that, which I forgot.

No other Organized Religion in the World (or, any other Religion to my knowledge) ever proclaimed JIHAD:War and/or Terrorism, as the way to proselytize it's Religion.

And, this is not a matter for "interpretation".

Thus, if you are a "TRUE" Muslim, and know your Qu'ran..... BY DEFINITION: you are a fucking arsehole.

The Mid East Muslims, either under Theocracies, or controlled by the fanatical whackjob Imams like the Wahhabis who control the Saudi Royalty, who are blackmailed to spend TENS OF BILLIONS of Petro-dollars on Mosques throughout the World (approx 85% of the Mosques in America are said to be under Wahhabi Control)....preach that America is the GREAT SATAN, and ISRAEL, the LITTLE SATAN should be wiped off the the face this planet.

Thus, these American Muslims (primarily of Mid East Origin), by definition, if TRUE MUSLIMS.....are the ENEMY WITHIN. And CAIR is, UNEQUIVOCALLY the FRONT for the Muslim Brotherhood having Two of it's founders being of the Muslim Brotherhood and connected to Hamas......YET.....The Obami-Salaami Adm, with Janet Incompetano, as the Honcho of Homeland Security, invites CAIR to speak & instruct our Government Agencies and Military and even hired known Jihadist Muslims into the Highest Levels of her Dept. Janet Incompetano proclaimed the edict that the words "terrorist", "Jihadist", the phrase "War on Terror" be abolished on National TV. And, this fact was brought out in one of the examples used in the VERY NECESSARY PETER KING CONGRESSIONAL MUSLIM HEARINGS.

The Muslims in the East and South East Asia....and there are BILLIONS of them.... seem to be more "enlightened" ..... or have their own version of this fucking Qu'ran.

So....Is America a Christian Nation ???

At the present time it is......AND I AM GLAD IT IS.
