Are we done? Is it over?

In Liberal minds, rent free.
Benjamin Franklin was aked "Well, Doctor, what have we got, a republic or a monarchy?" With no hesitation whatsoever, Franklin responded, "A republic, if you can keep it."

Well we kept it for more than 200 years, but is it over now?

Concider this:

1. Our government schools are producing graduates who are dumber and dumber and who know less and less about how the government works.

2. The Media, except for FOX News, is completely in the tank for Obama and the Democrat Party.

I would like to produce these points as evidence:

1. College students think that they can protest someone into a jail cell even if they know very little about the case.

2. Nancy Pelosi can stand on the floor of the House and tell other politicians that they have to pass a bill before they will be allowed to read what is in it.

3. The Attorney General refuses to prosecute a very clear case of voter intimidation at the polls.

4. Barack Hussein Obama can lie to the American people on a continuous basis.

And the people of the US don't seem to care (ignorance), if they even are being told about it (Obama-mania media.)

Even if the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare, Obama doesn't have to abide by their decision. If he implements Obamacare anyway, who will stop him? The Media won't hound him on it like they would if it was a GOP POTUS, and the Attorney General won't charge him, and Congress won't impeach him and the people either won't care or won't even be aware of it.

How can we win against the tidal wave of stupidity coming from Government Schools and Liberal Colleges these days?

And all we can put up against Obama is Mitt Romney? How are we, as a free and prosperous nation, to avoid becoming the 3rd world socialist state that Obama wants?

Is it over?

Another sign that it's over for the US as we know it:

Most people believe that the Buffet Rule is a good thing. They believe what obama says about it and that it will helpm with the defecit.

You cannot fix stupid.

It’s not only not over, it’s getting better, stronger, it will survive and flourish.

The radical right and reactionary conservatives are making every effort to destroy the Republic, of course, by disregarding the rule of law, by attempting to do away with privacy rights, the right to equal access to the law, and the right to due process.

Although conservatism poses a serious threat to the Republic’s survival, by adhering to the principles of the Constitution as expressed in its case law, ‘persons in every generation can invoke [those] principles in their own search for greater freedom.’

Sometimes however, I do get encouraged.

This morning I was talking with a security guard at this hospital, one who I've passed by every time I go to the OR, and I asked him: "How's it going?" We talked for a bit and he goes on this rant about how Obamacare is going to screw up everything for us (in the hospital business), and how we need to get rid of him. Until that point I would have pegged him as an Obama supporter.

The problem with dislike is that he is a victim of the union based education system and left leaning media the same as the people he complains about. When the Declaration of Independence was drafted and it came his turn to sign the Document, Franklin said "we must hang together or surely we will hang separately". It's as true today as it was 250 years ago but the problem with post Vietnam Americans is that they have been taught to hate their Country and they have no concept of freedom and democracy that makes the United States the greatest political system the world has ever seen. We control the government, the government doesn't control us. Only fools and anarchists say "are we done, is it over".

Um, did you even read the OP? And "dislike" is in my avie, I am not dislike.

Barry Hussein is just a glitch in the history books and his political mentor Bill Ayers should be doing life in prison.

I'll say this; I hope you are right and I am wrong.

It's really quite astonishing that you don't these actions being carried out by the current administration.

What are you looking at in place of reality?
