"It's a depression for millions and millions of Americans." -- Joe Biden on the Stimulus and failure of the Obama economy, June 2012

Good reasoning behind the terminology that the republicans are using is stupid. Asking "are you satisfied with Obama's recovery?" would probably be much more effective.

Yes, we were close to the brink, but the financial meltdown did not occur, thanks to TARP, and quick action from the Bush administration. A recession did occur, and it was a fairly substantial one, but that recession ended in June 2009, before any of Obama's stimulus money took effect. If the financially ignorant asses had left the economy alone, we would already be enjoying the good times again.

But, the liberal/socialists had an agenda, and they were not going to let a good crisis go to waste. A socialist nation was within their grasp, and they went for it. What did it matter that a lot of people were going to have to suffer, the goal was worth it. Or, so the dumbasses thought.

And he admitted Social Security was broke too... if a Republican said that there'd be riots in the streets (ordered by the DNC)

Social Security isn't broke. Bush just raided the trust to finance his tax cut for the rich. You know, like Romney wants to do more of.

Debt to Hit $16 TRILLION in Time to Crash Democratic Convention*

Just as Democrats are gaveling in their convention Tuesday, the federal government likely will announce another dubious milestone - $16 trillion in total federal debt.

Thank you Bush for setting the record. Putting us on the brink of a depression has a good chance of rapidly increasing the debt. I bet people like you don't want the top 2% to pay any more in taxes either.

No we are not better off, high unemployment, Americans upside down on their mortgages.

How are we better off?

Great DEPRESSION, dupes, and the worst and most mindless obstruction EVER. Assume the position, a-hole Pubs and silly dupes.

I know, let's cut taxes on the bloated rich, destroy Medicare and health reform, raise taxes and fees on the nonrich, let corporate cheats run wild, cut aid to states and localities, raise military spending to more than the rest of the world combined, and worry about the debt in 2035. Absolute idiocy, dupes
