Are we all pathetic as we make all such sites like the Tower
    of Babble?

There are no fundamental paradigm shifts in thinking here.

Nowhere here, that I have seen, are any ever saying to their
interlocutors; you have changed my mind completely.

This means that we are not listening to each other or affecting
each other’s thinking at a fundamental level.

We are letting our biases rule us; instead of listening to
others input. We are putting mental blinders on.

What have you seen in yourself or in others in terms of
changing the minds of others or indeed your own mind in a fundamental way?

Have you seen any here fundamentally change their minds?

    Regards
    DL

I can honestly say there are 3 posters that have fundamentally changed the way I view things.

Appears to me that this is how the power structure would like for things to remain, and we the people give them little to concern themselves with in that regard.

    Insightful and true I think.

The more noise we make, the more they can hide their putrid planning.

Slaves fighting each other means the slave owners can rest easy.

The Tower of Babel was the allegorical account of the great migration from the cradle of civilization.

A good belief to scrap. Good for you.

We are all tribal thinkers to some extent and should recognize that that propensity of loyalty to our affiliations are not racist. It is just preference.

Sorry but if you judge or partition people based upon the color of their skin, it's racism.

racism: prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

racism: the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

tribalism: the state or fact of being organized in a tribe or tribes.

I didnt scrap anything. I just think differently about it. Before I believed Blacks could be racist. Now I understand its not really being racist.
