LOL A compound annual growth rate of over 60% over the last decade. Won't take long at that rate for solar to be a major factor in our energy generation. Yes, only a small number of houses have solar setups at present. Again, with the decreasing costs of solar, and increasing costs of fossil fuel generation, that is rapidly changing.

hardly what anybody would call "rapidly".

Just sayin'

And although annual growth rates of 60% over the last decade look to the average person to be impressive, when you look at it compared to all other energy sources, solar still stands at providing the United States a smidge over 1% of its electricity. Not real impressive.
