She's a citizen of the United States. More that that, she's an elected representative of the people of the United States. Whether she believes in it or not, she is obligated to side with the United States, and with the American people, against any obvious enemies thereof.

Beyond most citizens, as an immigrant, she is someone who chose to become a citizen of this country, and who chose to seek election to high public office in our government—both choices that she should never have made, if she truly did not believe in and support this country, it's people, and the principles on which it is founded. Even if that were true, it does not meet the definition of treason, unlike conduct in which Ms. Omar, and most of the Democrats in Congress, have openly engaged, or at least supported.
