Fox and CNN give an effort to present voices from the other side. I have to give them some credit. PMSNBC make little effort. It's kind of a nut house over there, good for entertainment value only.

Fox News Liberals

Talk to any Fox News-hating liberal and you'll here the same old regurgitated talking point- "Fox is not Fair & Balanced," "Rightwing propaganda." One network, Fox News, has twice the number of opposing commentators than does all media sources combined. If you add up the major media properties; ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, PBS, New York Times, Washington Post, and Newsweek -- you get a total of five so-called conservative personalities among hundreds of liberals. At the least, Fox News employs the following liberals;

* Juan Williams
* Alan Colmes
* Kirsten Powers
* Shepard Smith
* Geraldo Rivera
* Mara Liasson
* Bill Schulz
* Susan Estrich
* Ed Henry
* Bob Beckel

A 2009 national survey showed that 46% of those who watch FOX News “just about every day” are Democrats or Independents. Dick Morris interpreted the numbers and determines, "Could it be that the Obama Administration is concerned about FOX News not because it is 'an arm of the Republican Party' but because it is so widely seen among Democrats and Independents?"

The other propaganda by the left is that Fox News watchers only watch Fox. Many viewers watch other news more that MSNBC viewers.

Fox news is just oppisite of the biased liberal news like MSNBC, CNN, CBS, fox viewers are much more informed than MSNBC viewers.

Don't believe the mainstream news look up things up for yourself on what they are reporting
And don't forget all of the D and liberal Senators and Congresspeople they interview on a daily basis.

The Wiener used to be a regular contributor and they let him talk freely. In fact, I always liked it when they put The Wiener on a program. He gave you the straight, unashamed liberal view.

NBC Had Better Things To Cover Than General Electric's Tax Bill...

NBC didn't seriously cover the news that its parent company avoided paying taxes last year when that story hit the front page of the New York Times on Friday. As the Washington Post points out, it didn't cover it Saturday, Sunday or Monday, either. Today, based on searches on its site, it seems the network still hasn't devoted any time to the story.

Since 1986, when General Electric purchased NBC, there have been periodic charges that the NBC News division would take it easy on its owner. Earlier this year, Comcast became the majority owner of NBC Universal (GE still owns 49%), but it hasn't quieted critics.

Jon Stewart called out the network on Monday night for not covering its parent company's taxes, pointing out that it had time on Friday to run a story about the Oxford English Dictionary adding the word "muffin top" to its latest edition. The MSNBC site (NBC's central news portal on the Web) today features a business story about Girl Scout cookies (which is actually kind of awesome), but as far as we can find, still no original coverage of GE's great tax dodge.

What we did find was a reprint of the New York Times story on the MSNBC Web site. There's also an MSNBC "Last Word" segment with Lawrence O'Donnel from Friday, in which O'Donnel reads GE's response to the Times story, then examines the company's tax return, comparing it to an individual fudging the deduction on his or her home office. The company pointed out that since it had lost so much through GE Capital, it net taxes were zero, but that if one took out GE Capital from the equation, its taxes would be 21 percent. "That explains why a company that made 14.2 billion dollars last year and 5.1 billion in the United States is paying no coroproate income tax in the United states." But that doesn't explain why the network GE owns didn't dedicate any serious coverage to the story.

The Post asked the network to explain itself...

“This was a straightforward editorial decision, the kind we make daily around here,” said Lauren Kapp, spokeswoman for NBC News. Kapp declined to discuss how NBC decides what’s news or, in this case, what isn’t.

But media watchers were not convinced...

Hannity may be the biggest puppet on Fox News.

Hannity's area of expertise is in dumbing down rightwing propaganda for the sake the wider less informed conservative audience, which is actually quite a trick given the level of stupidity that most rightwing propaganda starts from.

...owned by special interest groups. Y do U think our USA has been involved in perpetual war since 1916???

FOX egged on the war with Iraq.

MSNBC has done no such thing.

At one point, MSNBC did indeed support the Iraq war...

According to Jesse Ventura...
Ventura says MSNBC nixed his show for not supporting Iraq War | StarTribune.com
"They won't put me on the air because I opposed the Iraq war from Day 1," he said of the network.

MSNBC's Pro-Bush "Town Meeting"
After George W. Bush's June 28 speech about Iraq, MSNBC's Hardball presented viewers with a decidedly skewed "town meeting" featuring a panel dominated by Iraq war boosters...

In other words, MSNBC's "town meeting" excluded forceful critics of the Iraq war--a war that polls show most Americans no longer support, or believe the White House is mismanaging.

GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt this President's "Jobs Czar?" And how many American Jobs has GE Outsourced over the years? Man,what a hoot. Can't make this stuff up.

MSNBC begins its day, essentially, with Morning Joe, a three hour program hosted by a CONSERVATIVE.

Foxnews has nothing from the left remotely comparable to that.

Beyond that, the two are effectively left/right mirror images of each other.

So Foxnews is clearly the more biased.

Wake up you Obama dupes. Your President is a mere GE Employee. He puts a guy in as a "Jobs Czar" whose company has Outsourced Thousands & Thousands of American Jobs over the years. And that makes perfect sense to you guys? Seriously? GE/NBC and this White House are in bed together. I wouldn't believe anything being reported by NBC at this point. They're just not credible.

Not sure...........but can anybody tell me why the MSNBC weekday evening anchors are always so angry and miserable?

I think they are born that way..something about a liberal gene..you see it a lot with liberals..

It was pretty telling when he was forced to release White House visitor logs and all those GE/NBC staff members kept showing up on the logs. That Rachel Maddcow chick was one of the most frequent visitors. Now why would she be meeting with the White House so often? Well it's very simple. She is there often to coordinate their talking-points propaganda. It really is Goebbels stuff. So to Hell wiith GE & NBC. They're a disgrace.

GE/NBC represents everything that is wrong with our Nation and especially Government. GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt a "Jobs Czar." Man,this country really is doomed.

These so called " News Networks" both MSNBC and Fox would not know a journalist if one kicked them in the leg. That said these networks are just like the "opinion " pages of your local newspaper, in that the anchors and hosts of the various networks " read" the news from real journalists then formulate "opinions" that suit their target audience and base their shows around them. Both of these networks have been caught numerous times editing news to suit their purposes or overstating or just downright misrepresting the truth. If one wishes to watch these networks and call them news them please do so, but to say one is better than the other is nonsense if one is looking for a news network and not opinion based TV. Let's face it, MSNBC is media arm of the democratic party and Fox News is media arm of the Republican party and none of them are the least bit interested in reporting on news or facts if they get in the way. So if your interested in real news, I suggest do as a growing number of people are doing, seek it out on your own, rather than listen to someone who has processed it for you and formulted an opinion they think you should have.

I think their distortion makes anyone who watches these networks on a daily basis terribly misinformed about contemporary issues in America.

Am I wrong?

BONUS: Who is more biased: Fox News or MSNBC?

I can point to at least 10 major lies by Fox right off the bat.

Please name an MSNBC lie.
