In my opinion, Big John is saying what ever he is told to say and appointing for VP whoever he is told to appoint by his Rove-wannabe RNC handlers, who are working directly for the same people and corporations who hold the leashes to the highest paid professional lobbyists.

McCain 2000 would have made this a tough choice, but Mccain '08 sold us all out.

To me, McCain is the 'corruption' candidate because he will not reduce professional lobbying one single iota.

No one is for socialism. No one wants the government to take over the means of production. But we do need to regulate capitalism in such a way that greed and stupidity do not destroy the system.

And a single payer healthcare system is NOT socialism. It is the government acting as the insurance company. It has inherent cost savings. That is why every other Western democracy in the world uses it. The doctors still own their practices, and you can choose to go to any doctor you wish.

That's my question... Are they? It seems to me that Obama and Biden are more marxist than McCain... and obviously way more marxist than Palin.

They want to increase income taxes on the rich people who create the jobs in this country, they want to raise the death tax so more of our worth goes to the government than to our family, they don't believe in state's rights only federal rights... Like it or not this seems to be Obama's view points....

On the long spectrum of political standing, Obama is closer to Marx than McCain is. But wouldn't McCain be closer to Mussolini than Obama is?
