everywhere and nowhere
Mussolini makes his first move. He and his men storm the Aventi, a newspaper known for publishing views contrary to his own. Through violence and the destruction of the presses, Mussolini seeks to silence to opposition and ensure that the only acceptable media is that which agrees with his position.

This is something that would be seen time and again in history.

Now we've moved into fantasy land. It's laughable that criticism of FOX is considered "silencing". That's just conservatives being whiny wusses.

Some would say it's laughable that not wanting to fund NPR- or any other broadcasting organization- via taxes is 'sabotaging'. They might even say that's just leftists being whiny wussies because they can't attract listeners and advertisers like other stations.

By removing a subsidy equal to only 2% of their annual revenues?
Maybe if the gave up that subsidy they could actually remove some of the bias in their reporting, and they'd be acceptable to a wider audience.
It would be for their own good.
