Apple or IBM. Which is the best computer? I need you all to vote.

I am thinking about buying a computer. I have narrowed it down to two. IBM or Apple
I need USMB, computer geeks to vote. Then I will make my decision based on your vote tally.

Macs have a number of advantages over Wintels. They are more reliable, they don't become obsolete in 2-4 years, I still use a 14 year old Power Mac 8500 that I bought to replace my 10" reel to reel tape recorder when it died. I still use it because I have a number of expensive Pro Tools plugins that I don't want to pay for again to run with OS X. I'm using an 7 year old dual G5 for everything else.

One of the biggest advantages with the new Intel Macs is you can run other operating systems on it at the same time as the Mac OS X without rebooting using a program called Parallels Desktop. You can have OS X, Windows, Ubantu, and any other OS all running at the same time and copy and paste between all OS.
