But suddenly, the exact same foreign policy is a resounding success.

What does that have to do with the AP? To me it shows that Europe is generally happier with the rhetoric, if not the actions of Obama. That can't be a surprise can it?

from what I have seen, Obama is 'sorry' for the USA, and he's happy to throw eastern europe under a bus which seems to make germans and frenchmen squeal with delight.
