anyone wanna share a good taco recipe with me?

Don't forget the celantro. It does good things to the fat in meat.

And any taco recipe without at least some garlic is a mistake too, far as I can tell.

Garlic brings out other flavors as well as adding its own.

I'm looking for a great recipe for the meat. I prefer beef.

Something mexican too, I'm not real big on other cultures' variations.

Thanks in advance!

1. Crack open a can of Hormel chili

2. Pick all the beans out

3. Enjoy!

If you are going for non ground beef, crock pot chicken or pork with corona beer, cilantro and lime wedges for a good 24 hours. Don't forget the black beans, corn, and fresh guac from a nice avacado.

I'm going with this one for my week 1 Eagles game party.

I make my own seasoning mix to start with:

1 tablespoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon black pepper

Then depending on the meat, add more or less. The above is good for about 5 lbs of meat.

Thanks Kath! This was what I was mostly looking for, but I definitely appreciate the other ideas on the crock pot meat too. I'm going to crock pot the beef and use this seasoning recipe with it.
