Anyone play an instrument?

My main amp was a Roland JC-120 for many years. Loved that amp, but later sold it and returned to my roots.

I'm a Marshall guy..

Big Marshall stacks are so '80s (but they sure do sound good).

The trend these days is to smaller tube combos.

I run a half stack.. 1998 Marshall DSL50, Monotone custom cab with GWS Xed speakers.
I'm a Gilmour nut so I use an echo with a delay most of the time.
If your in a small space I can see that... Gigging a small amp with a PA system works.
I still like big sound.. The little guys don't cut it for me.

As I get older, my amps get smaller.

Back in my younger days in the '60s, I ran two Fender Showmans.

Then I "downsized" to a Twin Reverb.

Then a Deluxe Reverb.

Now that I don't play out much anymore I've downsized yet again to a Fender '57 Deluxe.

You like the tweeds....
The twin is a monster and very heavy.. Showman's are cool.. I'd like to find a couple decent vibroverbs like Stevie used.

I had bought a Blue breaker and didn't like it. I removed the amp and sent it to Dace Bray for mods. What a killer amp Head it was. I sold it to a guy in Texas who the sold in to another guy in England.

It had to be dimed all the time... dam plexi's.

Yes, I like Tweeds.

Leo got it right way back in the '50s.

I'm not sure he was ever wrong? What's sorta odd is, he didn't play.

I've played guitar since H.S. I would love to learn Piano but I'd rather not give up the spare time I dedicate to R/C model airplanes!
