Anyone Have Neighbors That Creep Them Out?

OK, well my other upstairs neighbor at the time was this old guy who looked like a retired Sea captain, always smoked a cigar and was downright contankerous if you told him hello. He lived right across from the Lady with the cat ( I guess they tolerated each other)
We called this guy "section 8" that was his nickname. He didn't work, I suppose because he was too anti social. One day my good friend Jerry who lived downstairs right next to me, went up there for one thing or another, and seemed to be a little freaked out by the fact that the only thing in his apartment was one table and one chair, and was sitting there with a gun on the table. This was many many years ago, I'm trying to remmember it all now, but I think that guy was on some sort of medication and must have run out of it from time to time because every now and then he would call out from upstairs threatening to shoot somebody. If I remember right it was because he didnt like "noise"

Then there was my friend Jerry, well he was just fine, but we called him the one CHORD man . partly because he sat around all day smoking dope and playing the guitar, but also because he powered his apartment off of ONE extension cord when he didnt pay the power bill for six months and discovered the trap door in his closet that led into the complex basement - And access to a power recepticle ! haha

Oh damn, Im glad sometimes I left Reno

This thread has inspired me to _be_ the wacky neighbor in my neighborhood.

Where to begin ... oh, that's right, it seems step one is "remove pants".

I already have a car cam. And it's small enough to not be noticeable. (Seriously, why would someone having a car cam be a problem? We're speaking of a dash cam type thing, right?)

Well, I was talking about hidden cameras in the grill. That goober was checking angles, etc. He could be tracking everybody who came in or out of the common area of all 4 units sharing the area - and who was visiting who between apartments.

There's an awful lot of weirdos out there. Rather unpredictable. Some could be pretty dangerous, too, I'm sure.

I have a neighbor that, while were on cordial relations, that I don't entirely trust, since this person has a history of trying to control me, by not only complaining to management and the trustees, but even threatening to call the cops on me, and take me to court because she didn't like what I was doing in my apartment. Fortunately, that stopped, but my trust in this person is kind of shot, after that.

I have one. There's an old man that lives next door with his son. He is about 70 and very large. When I first moved in he had a sign in his front yard that said he mowed lawns. Initially this began as our conversation. He is on disability and mows lawns for some cash. I declined. I bought a battery operated lawnmower. He said he had never seen anything like it.

I would come home from work and he would arrive on my porch or yell at me from his porch and we would chat for a few minutes. He asked me out to dinner and I declined. He asked me for a hug and I gave him one....you know that kind of hug where you do a pat 3 times on the shoulder and keep your body about as far away as you possibly can without falling. He asked me if I was uncomfortable with that. I said I am absolutely uncomfortable with that. Let's not do that.

So, I get up one morning and walk outside and sit on the steps. It is not even fully light. Check the weather and drink my coffee. I get up and turn around to walk back inside and the man is masturbating in his window. Full body shot and the man wants me to see this shit.

I'm telling you right now.....there is no brain bleach to erase that from memory.

I go to work and come home and he knocks on my door. I open the door and I told him I saw him and to get the hell off my property.

The first couple of weeks I would not go on the porch. I drove by my house around lunch time and there was a guy standing in the street trying to look into my bedroom window. I whipped around and parked the car and went to the front of the house. He was standing on my neighbor's porch talking to him through the door. I check on everything and get back in my car and start down the street. The old man is on his porch and does this loud kissing sound.

A few weeks after that. His lawn service sign is down. He is loading his lawn mowers onto a truck and bringing one back to mow his lawn and loading them back up again. A few weeks after that, the lock on my shed has been broken and my lawn mower is gone.

So, yeah..........but now the police are involved and if I walk out on that front porch he goes inside his house.

Boy, this guy sounds weird. Then he rips off your lawn mower, to boot. It's a good thing that the police are involved, now.
Good luck.

OK - so the creepy neighbors have struck again. Damn, I hope they're not representative of all Texans ... I'm sure there have to be some good Texans. Two of my good neighbors just left my apartment a couple minutes ago. I was dead tired and hurting like hell when I got in from work last night so I slept through this whole episode and never heard a thing.

Last night my good neighbor's 17 year old daughter left work at 10:00, stopped by here about 10 minutes later to say hi to mom before going on to daddy's house (joint custody). She got in her car, backed out and started the wrong way out (which is to say she was going about 6-8 parking spaces the wrong way on our one way circle to the exit at the end of our building). The 30-year old pathetic Mama's Boy came flying out and slammed a full beer into the girl's car window and called her a little bitch ... scared the shit out of the girl, she abandoned her car and came flying upstairs to mom. Cops were called - and more than one showed up because they've been here before over these people. Rental office was notified - called at home by the after-hours service. Long story short, but when Mama FINALLY opened the door and the cops got inside ... these people have some kind of audio-visual set up - they have been ILLEGALLY filming all of us non-stop and listening to everything we say. They told the cops that all of us were gang members and had been harassing them ................................. Thankfully some neighbors at the other end of our building who we don't even know witnessed the whole episode and let the cops know they had witnessed it.

They are apparently going to FINALLY be outta here in two weeks. THANK GOD!!!!!! It has been a living hell for everybody since those people moved in this place.

Maybe it's just my paranoia ... but I am CONVINCED that the Texas Rangers escorted these people to the Texas state line and told them not to ever cross back over it again. This is such a beautiful, well run complex where the children can run free and play without fear, leave their bikes or whatever all over the place and the stuff is still going to be where they left it the next morning. And these animals have just made it hell for us.
