Anyone else hate Jessica Simpson?

For a while, I went easy on Jessica Simpson because she does have a good voice and she didn't seem to be as much of a 2D sell-out as your Britneys or X-tinas. But, now, I'm starting to think differently. Her new video is extremely annoying, and after all that "I'm doing it my own way, I don't have to dress slutty to sell records", what is she doing? Washing a car in a pink bikini. On top of that, the song is a terrible, terrible remake, and it's promoting the Dukes of Hazzard movie, in which she seems like the only think keeping it from being really good. Literally every shot in the trailer revolves around either the General Lee doing a stunt or Jessica (as a blonde Daisy Duke, WTF?) making witty double entendres. Because she's got big boobs. Get it? For some reason, the video and preview for Dukes has made me completely hate her.

If I have to see her on another cover of one of my magazines, I'm going to puke. Her, Britney, who by the way was on the cover of People. In the article she mentioned she's craving pickles & ice cream. How original. And who cares??? I know a woman who ate Twinkies & sardines. Debra Messing is another I'm getting tired of seeing. There ARE others more interesting.

I never get tired of seeing Debra Messing... :flutter:

I am getting a bit tired of Jessica Simpson though. Couldn't she have gone brunette for the Dukes of Hazzard remake?

Have you heard her remake of "These Boots Were Made for Walking"? It's a horrible, horrible song and it's made worse by the fact that she sounds like she's trying to do a terrible Britney impression.

:p:

It's not that I'm tired of her so much as I'm disappointed that she sold out and started dressing like a big whore in order to sell records, or her movie or whatever.

Frankly, D, I'm surprised you're the only one who posted that, I figured I'd get flamed big-time.

wow, I believed you were speaking of the Adam Green's song.

I'm actually amazed someone else on this board has heard of Adam Green! I was a fan of the Moldy Peaches, but I honestly never listened to either him or Kimya Dawson's solo stuff. Is it worth checking out?

LMAO!!! Yeah, I've always hated her. She's got a weird voice that sounds like it's about to crack, which it does alot while she's live. :teeth:

Dressing to show ones assets isn't dressing like a whore. :D

She's stunning...and talented. :)

And...naive. hehe...PERFECT, imo. :p:

I Have the record "Friends of mine" of Adam Green, it's a good record.
I particularly like the song "Friends of Mine". Good voice, nice music, with pretty violins...

No, but dressing that way all of a sudden to sell records certainly makes you one.

How does rubbing all over Willie Nelson when you're half-naked make you naive? She's a hooooooooooooooooooooooooobag! :p:
