In the center of it all
I'm always on the lookout to find a new single malt scotch to enjoy. Any suggestions? I'm usually really big on the smoky, peaty islay scotches, but I'm open to try anything.

I can not be of any help here, ever since I got caught stealing it from my father's liquor cabinet I have had an aversion to the stuff.

Though I did have one hell of an afternoon at the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre Edinburgh once.

Still, I can't remember anything about the taste. Or that day really.

Well, I happen to like Black Bush.

That's protestant whiskey!

I'm pagan, so I believe The Whiskey God ignores such christian trivialities.

I was at an Irish festival in Fort Collins, CO and the Vendors from Bush Whiskey were hosting a whiskey "tasting." I sat next ta some lady hat hated whishy......and....<hic>

gave all hers to me......

And I'm not Irish, so I don't really care either.
Bushmills is just as good as Jameson, and cheaper.

If we are talking Whiskey, I am a Crown girl. :)

I'm a fan of Crown, as much I like Canadian Whiskey. But Scotch Whisky beats Canadian, in my humble opinion.

Crown is in the water here. :D

I do not like Scotch, if my mom does drink, Scotch is her choice. I tried Scotch at a young age and we haven't been friends since. I am a big fan of Irish Whiskey.
