Is this about BP and Obama not expanding offshore drilling? I just don't know. As a low-level citizen it makes perfect sense in many ways because it does seem to be an unwelcome limitation on what appeared to MOST as an inconsiderate corporate giant representing a likely forehead on our face to the world. What they did, or appeared to do, during the spew and spill seemed completely irresponsible and disconnected from reality. Again, though, I just don't know.

My suggestion would be, perhaps, don't elect a president who obviously came from the roots of enslavement and poverty if you don't want the wisdoms he's acquired from such living. His advisers may have the most difficult position of the whole lot.

Perhaps because they sadly have to squeeze the American people... which is an absolute distraction to the real agenda... changing the technological base by which things are done here. People had ranted so much about the war being about the oil and such... but that makes less sense than for it to be more about the technology sharing between US and Iran on Petroleum refinement. I don't know. Sometimes it seems people just wanna bitch about a spec within a picture instead of seeing and understanding more of the picture presented.

Demos want energy to be "Rare and Expensive". The economy NEEDS energy to be "Cheap and Plentiful". So we are at an impasse. Haven't built a NEW refinery in 30 years. Haven't built a new nuclear plant in 40. THere is no REAL "alternative energy" -- only a number of unreliable "peaker" sources. Solar and wind are MATURE -- we shouldn't be subsidizing them.

Can't get mothered to pull our phone chargers out of the wall and use toxic bulbs -- and then be told by your Mom that she's gonna plug her Electric Car into a 220V, 40 Amp service for 5 or 6 hours a day.

They are completely deranged. Build 100 new nuclear plants. Replace the aging 50.. Use the Nat Gas excess to power the commercial trucking fleet. Now THERE'S a plan.
