Oh BS. Awlaki was invited to the white house for the same reason so many other muslims have been invited to the white house regardless of terrorist affiliation. It is to perpetuate the myth that islam is a peaceful religion and just to prove it, the US will kiss up to the worst of them. Muslims are US citizens TOOOOooOOOO. The worst terrorists are Tim McVeigh and Eric Rudolph. Who have been used so many times now, the legends are threadbare.

Was he charged with any crime? this is being spun to sell the idea to Americans that the US government should have the right to murder American citizens they do not like without trial.

That is about as un-American and pro-dictatorship as you can get.
Can U.S. legally kill a citizen overseas without due process?

If Anwar had turned himself in, he would have recieved due process. What would you have us do, let him preach the death of Americans and gain more influence so he can take Bin Ladens place?

He was an enemy combatant in our war with Al qaeda, he was not entitled to due process.

The only argument you can have is we did not officially declare war against Al qaeda, but we haven't declared war since WW 2, and everyone knows we are at war with Al qaeda.

So you can argue a technicality, but its distasteful, and anti-American.

What if we didn't do what we did, and he killed more americans? Maybe then you'd be happy.

I'm glad this happened for two reasons, one the guy was our enemy, two people can see how stupid the left is.
